We recently stayed at Copper Beach Cottage, 1 Addlemead, Lady Street, Dulverton, TA22 9DD, weekend of 6th - 8th December for my sisters birthday.
The beautiful cottage was situated in the middle of Dulverton with easy access to the shops, restaurants and pubs. When we arrived, we noticed the house had been decorated for Christmas (very tastefully), with a beautiful tree and lights around the house. The house was well equipped, even with Storm Darragh upon us, we needed nothing. Finished our weekend off with our favourite restaurant "Woods", who never disappoint, a must for any visit to Dulverton.

Rob and Sam are amazing hosts.
The lodge was exactly what we wanted and was a great break.
We were welcomed warmly and even had basics such as local bakers bread, milk and eggs ready for our arrival.
We were concerned about the lack of reviews when booking however don’t let that stop you, it’s just because it’s new!

"Birthday treat"

Super comfortable warm clean and spacious cottage. Very nice indoor pool area with jacuzzi, sauna and gym.

We stayed here 5 years ago and it was amazing 5*. So we returned for my partner’s birthday. We were both a little disappointed. The hamper was no where near as good as last time. No milk in the fridge which was annoying. Lots of spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The windows were all dirty. The cleaners left dead on 4pm so we were waiting outside until they finished. So meant the floors were wet on arrival. Cobwebs all inside the sauna. All the paintwork needs a refresh. For the price of it per night I didn’t think it was worth the money. The only good thing that has been upgraded is the hot tub. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be returning.

The Big Barn was a great venue for our family celebration. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the living areas excellent. The outside surroundings are also beautiful with lovely walks. We had wonderful stay.

"Absolutely loved our little get away…"

Absolutely loved our little get away weekend for my partners mums birthday. It was her wish to have her kids and grandkids under the same roof to celebrate a big birthday. It had everything we needed to entertain the kids and was in a quiet location... the only down fall was the property we stayed in had wooden stairs which was open. I think it would benefit safety gates top and bottom as I had a 2 year old who turned the stairs into a game and with them being wooden was slippy with just socks on... we did take our own gates but the frame work was wider than a standard size. I think it would benefit for other families who stay to have that safety measure in place :) but other than that it was perfect and sure we will book again in the future

Photos did not do it justice , it’s an amazing place to stay and made our weekend . I would recommend staying here and will do again . Whatever questions I had before were answered about the venue and all made it into a special family weekend
