"Returns, warranty, claims is a joke"
I purchased a double din pioneer unit from them. The shipping bix was damaged, the radio box was pierced, there was no packing in the box,and have of the features work on the radio. I called the company and told them the situation. At first, they wanted me to pay shipping for a defective "new item". Then, they said since the shipping box was damaged they would pay shipping and I would receive a new radio. I provided all pictures asked. It's been almost 3 months and I still have not had my issue resolved. I have called multiple times and been given the run around. I was told they are waiting on UPS to accept the claim. That was a month ago. I called two days ago and was told a supervisor was going to call me due to the long time frame. Still waiting on that call. I will never purchase from them again.

I bought a car stereo from Online car stereo and when I went to install it, it did not work. Like everyone else, I was told a customer service person would get back in touch. They have not responded. Reading the other reviews, it gives me very little hope to get any assistance or any money back. The responds to these other emails seem to be a generic "sorry for your issue" BS

I ordered two items. One worked well and the other had a defect. I called to return it. I was told on three occasions that a tech would call me. A tech never called. I had to pay return shipping and three weeks after tracking showed they received it I finally called to see what was up. They said the unit was defective and their policy was to ship another one. Fine. Here I am 3 weeks later after no replacement head unit, 6 weeks after they received the defective unit. At this point they have stolen $430 of my hard earned cash and I had to install a different stereo so I’m not driving around with a hole in my dash. Steer clear!! Sure you might get lucky and save a buck, or get royally screwed. I should have bought from Crutchfield. This matter would have been resolved an a couple of days. I still have no resolve in sight after a month and a half.

"Will Commit Wire Fraud"
I bought a pair of subwoofers from OnlineCarStereo and they promptly shipped the items. I decided not to do the project and shipped the subwoofers back in the original shipping box, unopened, unused. I paid the return shipping myself so a full refund was expected. After three weeks and a few phone calls, OnlineCarStereo credited me back 75% of the original purchase price. This company will scam you. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. There a lot of choices out there. Pick a reputable one, not this company.

I ordered Power Acoustik RZ1-2300D but it ran out of stock. The customer service that I spoke with is very courteous and she explained to me what happened. They asked me if I want a different brand or they'll just refund my money. I chose the latter.

"Returned a JVC car stereo that was DOA…"
Returned a JVC car stereo that was DOA and was charged both a restocking fee and a ridiculous $19.99 return shipping fee! I called and complained and was at least able to get the restocking fee refunded but still got screwed out of $20 bucks for what was supposed to have been a discounted return shipping! Don't even bother with onlinecarstereo - next time go to Best Buy where they have the same items for about the same price and REAL customer service.

Beware, they cheat when you return things. Charged me twice for shipping cost and restocking fee which is not mentioned in their return policy.

"This is the worst experience ever"
This is the worst experience ever, from the sales person (Juan Lopez) to the “manager” (Marvin). They sold me a bad amplifier and made me pay shipping back, but not just that. After speaking to (manager:Marvin) he stated that he will give me a full refund due to the issue, so I was okay with paying shipping. A week later they received the amplifier but still no refund. Took them 2 months to process the refund and when refund was processed they decided to charge me shipping and restocking fee for an item that came defective. I called them about this and all they had to say “we sent money back to get what we sent you, can’t work anything out) ending up loosing half of price of amplifier only because their stupid bad amplifier!
AGAIN STAY AWAY, THEY SELL BROKEN ITEMS AND WONT EVEN GIVE YOU MONEY BACK! OR AN EXCHANGE!
