DO NOT USE. They are really hopeless. You'll be back and forth and they don't get back to you in a timely manner. I have been charged storage fees because these people can't get it together.

"Helpful but slow communication hurts"
ClearIt is very helpful specially for first time or inexperienced importers and used to almost be a "cheat code" however the time between communications is starting to get hard to deal with. When $1000s of dollars in storage fees can be accrued overnight you would hope that communication would be quick and correct the first time. I have had to pay for rescheduling pick ups several times as I wait for corrected or unsent paperwork as well.
With no direct line of communication other then email and the portal chat there is no way to elevate or expedite something when needed.

"Overall process was slow for a newbie"
Being a private importer and ignorant of the process, clearance was slow, costing me >$800 unexpected in transport re-permitting fees and in the end over $500 more than a private broker; plus ~6 unnecessarily stressful days trying to make deadlines. Messaged help was conscientious but vague and confusing leading to the delays. Also phone return calls was only once out of ~3-4 attempts. Legit site but can't recommend to anyone but those experienced enough to know the ropes and have all documents definitively in hand to submit.

"Do not use this company"
This company is slow to respond to every message and was unreachable via phone. The website states that they have live chat but the response times were up to 18 hours when the message was sent during regular business hours. They did not update invoicing and billing despite all documents having been uploaded to their server and it has cost me days of not having my goods. Nobody seems to be able to answer a question directly. And when they finally did respond, it was with minimal information. I was told they would updated me within a certain timeframe, which of course did not happen. I will never use ClearIt again and suggest finding an alternate solution if you're looking for a company that provides quality customer service, communication, and information.

I went online at the last minute when i was informed of the problem and clicked on the clearit website. We were already Late submitting the ISF. As first time importers we did not know what was needed and we did not do this on time. I uploaded all the information i had and received very prompt notifications that more information was needed and what i needed to do and so i did it and Clearit submitted the ISF and helped us get our shipment transferred from the ship that came from Morrocco and landed in New Jersey to the ship that is headed here to Long Beach. I am very pleased with Clearit

"Horrible"
Regrettably, were it possible to assign a zero rating to this company, I would not hesitate to do so. With my background in the Customer Satisfaction Industry, I have developed a keen appreciation for the significance of prioritizing customer care, expeditious request fulfillment, and the consolidation of all requisite information into a single communication.
Regrettably, this company failed to meet any of these fundamental standards. Their telephone line appears to be disconnected, and their live chat support system exhibits protracted response times. Furthermore, their procedural approach involves a fragmented request for documentation, spanning multiple days—an approach that ranks among the most subpar experiences I have encountered.
Compounding these issues, the final invoice exceeded the originally quoted amount by a factor of three. While I could expound upon my grievances at length, I believe I have succinctly conveyed the principal sources of disappointment and time expenditure engendered by this company's services.

"Unbelievably Frustrating Experience"
I had the misfortune of dealing with this clearance company, and it was an absolute nightmare. I cannot stress enough how terrible their customer service is.
Firstly, their response time is laughably slow. It felt like I was talking to an abyss, waiting endlessly for their replies. I've had better response times from snail mail!
And don't even get me started on their so-called "live chat." It's more like a "dead chat." Every time I tried to get some assistance, there was no one available on the chat. It's like they built a ghost town instead of a support system.
If you value your time, sanity, and the concept of good customer service, stay far, far away from this company. Their lack of responsiveness and non-existent live chat support make dealing with them a regrettable experience. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your clearance needs.

The Clearit Team typically replied within 24 hours or much less asking for additional information if I had forgotten something to ensure my shipment made it to me safely.
