"Less than satisfied"

While I did purchase a platinum engagement ring from your company, I found it very difficult to find a good match for a wedding band. The original ring that would match, is no longer available. Further, the store did not have much to look at for other options. We did end up purchasing a white gold wedding band that would work with the engagement ring, as the store associate explained we would not be able to notice a difference between the platinum and white gold, but it was not even close when it was received. Now we await the arrival of a new ring that is one half the carats that our original purchase was and was more money as well. I can only say that it was not a great experience shopping at your store. You could almost sense the tension amongst employees and management at the store. I am hoping that the wedding band we await is acceptable when it arrives, but I highly doubt I will ever shop your store again in the future, nor will I recommend. Our original sales person was incredible to work with but has since left the company and it is very apparent that the current staff is far less versed on your products. Hopefully this revised review helps you understand.

"No certificate, no help from customer service"

No grading certificate came with the diamond solitaire necklace. I still do not know if a certificate for the diamond is missing, or if Blue Nile is just selling ungraded lab diamonds (surprising for a 2 carat solitaire…). There has been no response from Blue Nile customer service; emailed on 12/21 - no response as of 12/27. Sent second email on 12/26. Will likely return the item if there’s no certification on the quality of the diamond. I was unable to give the necklace as a Christmas gift, as I wasn’t sure if I’d be keeping it without a certification and can’t get a response from Blue Nile customer service.
