I have been assisting up parents with the sale of their property and in doing so we chose the hosted viewings and have had the absolute pleasure of having Sarah as our host
She is friendly approachable and always answers any correspondence or telephone queries we have promptly. It’s nice to have someone who appreciates the upheaval involved in selling a property especially as my parents are elderly and so far the journey to an offer and hopefully completion has been seamless

"Utter incompetence"

Utter incompetence. I call to arrange a viewing. Agent spends better part of 20 mins trying to convince me to use their in-house mortgage advisor, even after I said I already have an advisor and don't want another. I only wanted a 5 minute call to book a viewing but no. Agent spent SO long trying to spell my name and email, ends up misspelling it anyway. I never received confirmation of the viewing. Comes the day of the viewing, I ring to say we may be 5 mins late. Agent tells me they don't have my name correctly on their system and I am not allowed to view. I said but isn't the viewing booked regardless? Plus misspelling it is your problem, not mine - I am the same person who called before. Agent says no sorry. I am so frustrated I let them know this is utterly ridiculous and I am not using them again. Next, lo and behold, I receive an email saying "how was your viewing" :D:D:D are you kidding me?!?!

After. Selling my parents house through a agent to find out they sold to a work colleague I refused to ever pay a agent a hefty sum again . We had George Andrews from purple bricks who is superb he advised us when we got offers he’s always available to speak to . We lost our buyer 2 weeks ago as the process had taken already 5 months and the purchase we are making are quite frankly are the problem . So we rang purple brick they put us live again immediately and the appointments went crazy . Went on Monday had 6 viewers and 4 offers by Friday . George again was helpful in advising best option for us as we are boxed up and ready to go . He rang all the offers and found out each persons back ground and that helped in our decision . We are currently going through the process again but hoping it’s more successful. Our experience of purple bricks are superb no large fees , manage your own diary and get undiluted feedback it’s a win win for us save yourself the 3 rd party aggregation . Thank you George and purple bricks team 😊

"extremely disappointed, poor customer service"

We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Purple Bricks. Their customer service was extremely poor, incredibly difficult to get hold of any support and help, and they did not fulfil any promises made of call backs. We had to wait three weeks for a memorandum of sale to be produced, simply because they did not get in touch with the buyer to explain further evidence required, despite us continually asking them to. It was a very stressful and frustrating experience. We definitely would not recommend Purple Bricks to anyone.

Took £700 off us to sell a house, it didn’t sell in the first 3 Months so they took it of the market

"An estate agent that values your house…"

An estate agent that values your house over the phone on a video call, ridiculous! Not only this, they dis t even bother ringing to do the video call despite appointment being booked for 2 weeks and the agent confirming on the day! Absolute wasted my time. Avoid these lot and get a proper agent, not one that values your house over the phone!
