"Appalling and Dishonest Customer Service "
I have purchased five properties before, but I have never encountered such poor and inadequate customer service. Today, I was made to sit in front of my computer, refreshing my inbox repeatedly, as the person on the other end of the call assured me that the memorandum of sale was being sent in real time. He kept insisting it was a “technology issue” and urged me to refresh my page, which I did—despite knowing deep down that I was being misled.
He asked for my email address multiple times, and I even told him directly that I did not trust his colleagues. To confirm that my email was functioning properly, I sent myself a test email while on the call—it arrived instantly. This proved there was no issue on my end.
After 30 minutes, he finally admitted that he was experiencing IT problems and had no access to my file, relying instead on information from his colleagues. He then mentioned that certain documents were missing—documents that, until today, no one had ever requested. I had already completed the identity check twice, yet there had been no proper email listing all the required documentation, only frustrating and vague phone calls.
I am still in disbelief. This experience has made me question whether this is simply terrible customer service and a lack of training—or a deliberate tactic to make buyers walk away. The property I am trying to purchase is one where the reservation fee is non-refundable if the buyer backs out.
The representative on the phone seemed to understand my frustration, yet his handling of the situation was completely unacceptable. I am still in shock. If I could rate less than one star I would and I certainly do not recommend anyone having anything to do with them.

I had an appointment to meet Reece Maddick on Sunday 9th Feb at 2pm. My sister-in law and I completed a round trip of 90 mins each to meet Reece. When he didn't turn up after 15 mins waiting, we messaged him, he replied not even apologising, just stating 'Hi Peter, I’m on annual leave today, I’m not sure how your valuation had been booked in'. Rude and unprofessional.
We completely waited our time.
