I generally never get round to writing reviews, however having stumbled across the less than complimentary reviews following my recommendation of Aston Matthews to a friend, I felt compelled to report back on the wonderful service I received.
From start to finish, my experience of everyone I dealt with was exemplary, and my bathroom has been transformed into my very favourite room.
I really hadn’t a clue where to begin so really appreciated the time taken to help me design the layout and pick the products suited to my needs, taste and budget, especially their patience with my indecisiveness, nothing was too much trouble! The expertise and attention to detail was clear, even with little things like practical advice around the layout of shower controls, who knew there was such an art to it! I finally settled on the brass Axis range which looks great with my Kast concrete basin.
To help bring your ideas to life, I’d recommend for anyone to take the time to visit the showroom, it’s very unique and my experience was a welcoming and non-intimidating environment.
Delivery was efficient and as promised, updates were well communicated. It was also on their own vehicle, which I was very happy about given the time invested in making everything perfect and also the value of the products. To top it off I had a great plumber who installed everything smoothly who I will certainly review elsewhere!

From faucets to bathtubs, they have a great selection of well crafted pieces. They have excellent customer service and their professionalism is outstanding, which is why they will remain our go-to for future projects.

"Inferior after sales service and product quality checking."
As a plumbing and heating company , we have had a very bad experience with Aston Matthews and their shower valve manufacturer Barber Wilson recently. We ordered a very expensive thermostatic shower valve for an esteemed customer in Belgravia. The valve was delivered and installed by ourselves and was found to be built incorrectly. We have since read other reviews that suggests a very bad customer after sales service and inferior quality checking of their product at Barber Wilson. As a result of their appalling attitude and disdain for our cusrtomer and indeed our costs , there was delay in getting the issues resolved. I would advise against using these companies again or at least , read the reviews on Trust Pilot before making a decision.

"I didn't know how to leave 0 stars so…"
I didn't know how to leave 0 stars so had to leave 1. I spend a substantial amount of money on a full bathroom suite in March- every single item received has been faulty, arrived late or separately and am never updated as to when the next part will arrive. So far- nearly July and we still don't hve a functioning bath. Latest part was expected to arrive last week or early this week and with no update - having chased ; it might arrive in 10 days time. I will never ever use this company again and stress no one else should either. Everything is broken, no one cares, no complaints team, no urgency, not a care in the world once the sale has been made. I truly have never experienced service as poor as this in my life. Take this as a warning unless you want to spend 4 months receiving your bathroom, and spend triple the amount you should on installation fees and replacement parts - oh and emergency plumber call outs because the bath tap breaks the first time you use it and the water can't be shut off.....
****steve has been sympathetic but I am awaiting action and rectification as well as compensation for the multitude of errors. Shame it was only picked up and I was taken seriously when I posted this review - otherwise I have made contact many times and only chose to make this public when no progress of any kind was being made.***

"leaking taps."
I bought some taps from this company. They were very expensive and every couple of years they start leaking from inside and water runs down the wall. Every time this has happened Aston Matthews cannot decide which part I need. It is a standard part but last time they insisted it was a special order I had to wait ages for and when it finally turned up it was the wrong part. That aside for the price of the taps I would not expect them to start leaking every couple of years. They are wall mounted and the whole area has to be redecorated every time. Their after sales service is absolutely appalling and their product not so great.
Edit: further to your reply My plumber has already been in touch with you and has got nowhere to date, like every other time we’ve had an issue. The number provided below is just the normal number on which we have always contacted you on and with which we have got nowhere. Nothing being offered here just a tick box. You need to sort out your customer service. The issue has been ongoing for the last 15 years at least.
