"A replacement shower control"

A replacement shower control for one we bought at Aston Matthews 30 years ago. A classic design, now fitted, works beautifully and looks great. Seems to be of a high quality and just what I wanted even though it cost a small fortune. I guess you pay for what you get!!

I couldn't recommend less! Terrible After Sales.

I have one of these fancy shower/bath mixers ("Zyam bath/shower mixer for wall or deck mounting and flexible shower kit") that started to leak. Following advice from a plumber, I ordered just the inner cartridge from Aston Matthews.
It took 7 weeks to arrive.
So I got the plumber back in, which cost me £80 only for him to tell me I was sent the wrong cartridge.
I emailed and phoned Aston Matthews to try and fix the situation and I felt completely helpless as they gave me a very cold standard reply saying that the correct part was out of stock and they didn't know when they would be able to send me one.
Also, they offered to come and collect the wrong part in order for me to get a refund to no avail.
Very irresponsive, distant and not helpful at all.
3 months on, I still have a leaking tap, which I now have to operate with a pair of pliers while I wait for a new cartridge and they didn't even offer me solutions.
I had enough, I'm going to replace the who mixer with a different brand, much cheaper and with a much more efficient after sales team.

We have used Aston Matthews for a couple of bathroom projects. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, without being salesy. I would highly recommend for both their products and their great customer service.

We visited this store by chance, though we did want advice about a non slip mat for our shower.

Amanda suggested one item but said she’d check with the salesman. However his experience suggested this product wouldn’t do the ‘trick’. Amanda did give me a link to a company that might be more appropriate. My wife and I thought this was beyond ‘the call of duty’ but we were pleased with this high level of service. In conclusion, the link gave us the product we were after, and we placed an order.

I thoroughly recommend Aston Matthews, in Guildford, for their high level of service.

"Very unimpressed with the quality"

Very unimpressed with the quality. Items continually turning up scratched and in poor condition. Quality control appalling and then relying on the client to return each time. Expensive items, bad quality so far. Much better products on the market for the value.

Steve at the Guildford branch was incredibly helpful. Beautiful quality bathroom pieces. I absolutely love my new sink, taps and toilet.

The person on the customer service desk basically cut me off and put the phone down on me, mid enquiry, to answer another incoming sales call! Does she do this to all new and existing customers I wonder ?
To say this is not a very good customer relations tactic, is a massive under statement.
The additional part I required then took 5 months to turn up !
