Do not like this company’s policy at all ordered a chair and decided to cancel. They said if I cancel there taking a percentage off my money I do not think this is rite at all. They messaged and said it’s because I needed to cancel within 48 hours as it was being made this was not true as I got a message a week later telling me they have now started to make the chair so I was in time to cancel as it wasn’t even made

To say I am underwhelmed by the quality of the sofa I ordered, as well as the service I have experienced with Live Lusso, would be an understatement.
I paid for the sofa on Wed April 10 and I received it Wed Aug 7 which is 17 weeks in total. The timeline for this item was 8-12 weeks. When I emailed, looking for an ETA, I received a whole lot of excuses about shipping times, the Suez Canal, customs etc. If this is something they experience regularly, and from their email it sounds like they do, why don't they state on their website that delivery will take approx 17 weeks, sooner if possible, since this appears to be more realistic? Might the reason that they don't do this be because a wait time of 4 months will very likely put off potential customers? I know I would have looked elsewhere had I been told it would take 17 weeks from order to arrival.
Two days after placing my order, I requested a swatch - just to make sure, while there was still time, that the colour I'd selected was as it looked on my screen. I was told I would receive this in 3 days. When I still hadn't received it on April 27 (over 2 weeks later), I emailed again, finally receiving it on May 5, a total of 3 weeks and 2 days after my request!
The day of the sofas eventual arrival, one of the front legs was raised an inch off the floor. The delivery man tried switching the front legs around, but the leg remained raised. He had no clue what the issue was. He took photos of it and left promising to alert his office.
Live Lusso said: "It seems that the sofa frame may be slightly warped. Your sofa was manufactured in our Malaysian factory. Significant temperature fluctuations during production, shipping, or storage may affect the frame. Moving from a hot, humid environment to a cold one can cause the materials to contract or expand. This is not uncommon and does not mean the product is defective.
This issue can be easily resolved easily and we’d like to suggest a couple of steps that might help resolve this issue:
Applying Weight to the Sofa:
Sometimes, placing weight on the sofa, particularly in the area where the leg isn’t touching the floor, can help the frame settle into a more even position over time. You might consider sitting on the sofa or placing heavy objects on it for a period to see if this helps.
Using a Furniture Shim or Pad:
If the gap persists and is not too large, placing a furniture shim or felt pad under the leg can help stabilize the sofa over longer time. This is a quick and practical solution that can effectively level the sofa without altering its structure. Over time your sofa frame will return in its original shape".
This response, along with the light weight frame of the sofa, does not instill confidence in me that it is built to last longer than a year. It looks and feels cheap.
No one is more disappointed than me that (after 4 months!) it really wasn't worth the wait.
Since requesting, on 15 Aug, they collect the sofa and refund me, I haven't, as of 21 Aug, heard back from Henry or Emma. I have also left phone messages, and via their website (their chat facility doesn't work), but no one is getting back to me. I will continue until they do. Wouldn't recommend.
A quick update. After posting this review, I, coincidentally, heard back from them on Aug 21. They said: "When returning a non-faulty, unused item within the 30-day period, a restocking fee of £175 per item will be applied for a size of up to 3 seater..."
As the items was, in their own words "warped", this does not fall under "non-faulty". I am waiting for a response to my response!
