"Excellence Reservation Experience Helped by Robbie Sinteral"

I am a BC, Canada resident holding passports from other countries, and I want to reserve an RV in Calgary, AB, Canada. My parents, who also hold non-Canada passports, will come to visit me in BC and go to Calgary to rent an RV for a trip. Since my dad holds a non-Canada driver's license and is of non-Canadian nationality, all the documents required to rent an RV in Canada are very ambiguous. I have called the Cruise Canada reservation centre many times and even called the Vancouver BC office and Calgary AB office to ask about my dad's driver's license question, whether he needs to bring a translation document of his driver's license, and does he is the only person can pay this rent as my dad is the only driver to this RV. I got various conflicting answers after I called reservation specialists and branches, which stressed me as it was my first time renting an RV. I struggled and suffered for 4 days by contacting them and seeking solutions.

Robbie Sinteral, one of the reservation specialists in Cruise America/Canada, is the first person and only person so far to write down all of my questions and concerns and take the initiative to help me double-check with his colleagues and get back to me. After only waiting 1 hour, he gets back to me by email with detailed explanations to answer all of my questions. All the information has been confirmed, and all the problems have been solved! He is a very efficient, confident and competent worker with sufficient experience and problem-solving skills. If I need to reserve an RV in the future, I will directly contact Robbie Sinteral (his ext. 7456) as he is a reliable reservation specialist and always provides accurate answers that I can trust. Through this platform, I would like to reiterate my appreciation to Robbie Sinteral; thank you so much!

It's my first experience in reserving an RV; I may also share future experiences and thoughts after using the RV after my trip.

"No help at all. "

We needed to cancel our reservation on June 3rd to June 11th, due to having issues with the sale of our home. I called to ask if we could reschedule in September, but you had no reservations for us. Colin had stated that you had no reservations from August 24th till the end of the year. I can't believe you had nothing for us one way. My opinion is you just didn't want to deal with us. I've see your advertising and your are blowing smoke up every ones, you know what. I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone to rent an rv. Thank you for nothing.

"I had to delay"

I had to delay, then cancel my reservations. Customer Service was amazing. I canceled on the 4th & received my refund on the 6th. Thank you for making it so easy & I will definitely rebook in the future!!!

"Filthy unit and poor customer service"

Could not pick up until 1pm wanted it earlier so paid extra to have RV ready when I arrived. On day of pickup was asked if I could come later because they were not ready yet. When I arrived RV was not ready. RV was dirty and propane tanks bone dry. I was in a hurry and took it for a propane tank fill myself. Camper should have been clean and ready to go with at least some propane in the tanks. We cleaned the RV as soon as we could but could not get the cigarette smell out of the trailer. First evening we could not get the city water to run in the camper. Support was of no help. I called back next day and got a more knowledgeable person who suggested checking out the aerator on the sink. Sure enough, it was clogged with sediment. We ran the lines to try and clear as much of the scale as we could. First chance I could, I attempted to clean the exterior of the camper and realized that much of what was there was caked and baked on without a pressure washer I would not get it clean. I called Cruise America to let them know of the poor quality I received the camper in and got nothing but arguments from their representative. I asked for a supervisor and was told one would call me back. None has called as of yet. I will not be renting from them again.

"Rude and curt agent…"

The agent Derek Whitley was curt and rude. He was not helpful at all. He should signs of exasperation every time I asked a question. I even heard him, over the phone, saying in a hushed tone, “Oh my God!” As though he was fed of my queries. He should be taken off the phone and given more training. I have always gone with cruise America for many years but I am having serious thoughts of cancelling and going with Candream due to Derek and who knows more rude agents when I call in next.
