"Roof leaked first night"
Roof leaked first night saturating the bedding. The vehicle has electrical issues and would shut off for no reason lights and all which is dangerous at night. The furnace was not working to warm up and dry the bedding. The 12v water system was leaking and we were advised to not use it. Where we were was nowhere for us to hook up to a hose. No showers for us. Yesterday we had a neighbour tighten a leak under the sink which enabled us to shower. Could use an alignment as the steering vibrates over 90. Check in and return went smooth

"Sadly disappointed"
CHECK THE GENERATOR! I recently rented a 5-capacity RV for myself and elderly parents from July, 21-24. I asked very specific questions; is there air conditioning, toilet? I have a medical condition and get a lot of hot flashes, so having my condition and being with my elderly parents I needed to make sure I had an AC unit. I actually called a few times prior to July 21 to be clear on all RV amenities because it was either pop a tent or rent an RV. I was told there is a generator and YES an AC unit. When I picked up the RV, mentioned it again. Reassured that we will have no problems. The generator works.
We reached our campsite around 6pm on July 21, unpacked, we decided to turn on the AC, which stayed on for about 2hrs. The generator then suddenly shut off. At this point it’s pitched black outside, so we decided to deal with it in the morning. NO AIR FRIDAY NIGHT. Unbearable, but we have to deal with. Next morning, Saturday, and generator doesn’t idol. Starts for seconds then dies. I then called the 1-800 number and please look at all their notes. I talked to several people. Leticia, very nice and apologetic, she instructed us to open the generator door to look at the oil level. Initially couldn’t open it. We needed to get pliers to pry it open because of all the corrosion on the wingnuts. Finally, opened it and ZERO oil in the oil tank. NO OIL. Leticia told us what type of oil to buy and later called back and said she gave us the wrong type. We put 1 quart of SAE-30W(the correct type) then dipstick read add oil, which we added; however generator still wouldn’t work. When I called back the representative said to remove air filter, which we did and still wouldn’t start. Rep actually could hear the generator turn on but not idol. He also said someone would call me back and come out to fix it on Saturday. I waited all day and NO ONE came out or called. AGAIN WITHOUT AC. Sunday morning we can not take it any longer we decide to cut our trip short and come home. I called again on Sunday leaving a voicemail. Finally Leticia calls me back I tell her the story and that I’m returning the RV today. She tells me they are closed and is apologetic, but by this time I’m livid, hot, and now I’m demanding a discount. She says she is unable to give me one, but she is documenting everything and to talk with the representative when you drop off the RV.
Today I dropped it off and requested compensation and was told they are authorized to only allow up to $200. Also, was told this RV came from another state and needed a lot of maintenance before putting it on the line, BUT NEGLECTED TO CHECK THE GENERATOR! I was given an email address and told contact them, they can authorize more of a discount. I emailed them and now waiting. NO OTHER FORM OF CONTACT, so I’m stuck waiting.
It’s July 100+ degrees outside of course I need an AC. Honestly, I could have popped a tent it would have been the same and cheaper.

Refrigerator did not function when parked. It worked while in motion but not parked. Could here the propane working by no coolant.

The checkin and check out process was easy. The people at the Everett WA location very friendly and helpful. Vehicle performed flawlessly. The only minor hickup was the key to outside storage was cracked so we did not lock the storage which was not a problem at all. Great experience and company to deal with.

Dealing with Cruise America's location in Westland Michigan was the best customer service I have ever encountered. The customer service people were kind, considerate and so friendly. I will always return to Westland for my future Cruise America Rentals.

The entire experience with the rental agent at the pick up drop off location was excellent. Everything was well explained and gone over. The only problem we had was the side compartment was pushed in do to an accident with the vehicle prior to our rental making it unusable. Other than that everything was great!!
