Livecareer has been deducting money from my bank account. i had a cv made once, about 4 months ago. they have been deducting money monthly since then and are making it difficult to cancel the subscription with them

Money grab. Pure & simple.

I paid £1.95 for a 2 week trial on 8 June 2024. Not a subscription.

I did NOT receive any email stating this was a subscription & that they were going to start debiting my account.

I would have cancelled there & then!

After the 14 days I deleted my info.

But these money grabbers decided to go ahead & debit my account.
No notice. No transparency. No emails!

On 22June 2024 they debited £19.85
On 22July 2024 they debited £19.85
On 16 August 2024 they debited £19.85
£59.55 for nothing !

I called their so called customer service team, honestly even typing that made me cringe.

Absolute worst. Shocking really.
No greeting, no professionalism, they don’t give their name, there is so much background noise you can barely hear a word.

Honestly, the rep seemed bored and must be use to their companies shady sneaky billing tactics & the complaints that follow.

How very disappointing. After a long & protracted conversation where i was told they would process a refund… they have not refunded me for the 3 payments of £59.55 that they took but just one £19.85

Very deceptive & deceitful. It is cheap & tacky for a company to behave like this in 2024!

Truly Awful business practice.

Ironic too as they claim to help one get ready for honest work!!

Avoid at all costs! So many other reputable CV library/help sites out there.

This is quite simply a money grabbing scam.

Goodwill ?? Ha. You are taking liberties with the use of that word.

You took 3 separate payments of £19.85 without any notification! I never received any email notice from you about being enrolled in a subscription.

I did not want a subscription.

It is not Goodwill you are returning the money you should never have taken in the first place.

It is 2024 be better, do better, be honest & transparent !
