"SUBSCRIPTION TRAP! BEWARE"

BEWARE
Be very cautious as you start with a free trial and they don't send you reminders (as it is now a UK consumer rights violation!!) for when this becomes an extortionate monthly subscription and they keep charging you endlessly.

I contacted customer care chat yesterday asking for a refund as these procedures clearly violate UK consumer rights and was answered that the customer care is not aware of legal matters and should speak to a lawyer. I've asked to escalate to a superior and still nothing. Is absurd that customer service would answer like that and on top of this, UK rights requirements are:

how their subscription or
contract will be renewed
and the contract requires
that they are sent a
reminder a reasonable
time before it is due to
be renewed.
The reminder should include clear information
about the terms of the proposed renewal of the
contract and the steps customers need to take
to stop the renewal, if they wish to."

"b) send reminders in prescribed form to consumers, alerting them that a free or discounted trial period is coming to an end, or that a contract is shortly due to renew, with information on how they can exit the contract if they wish"
