My order BE56590 placed on 9/26/2023 was not delivered and I have trouble contacting customer service, I tried several times, but received no reponse whatsoever. The phone number listed on facebook is out of service. BEWARE!!!!! If there is problem and they do not respond to your emails, you have no way to get your money back. DO NOT ORDER!!!!
UPDATE - after contacting the company through facebook (they did not respond to several emails), the issue was solved and the undelivered order was refunded in January 2024.

"British Essential"

I order a special mouthwash that is available in Great Britain. It kills viruses including covid. Ordering has always been easy and the product is shipped fast. The only glitch is with US Customs. The processing takes longer, particularly during the holidays with all the international packages being shipped. I'll just have to reorder during a less busy time of year.

"An easy website to use"

An easy website to use. Very handy if you don’t find what you are looking for in the shops ( in my case Birds custard powder ). It is also good that you still pay the same postage when you order several items at once.

"A company with NO integrity!!!"

If you receive the product you ordered, then this is probably a great website/company, hence the positive reviews.

But if you do not receive what you ordered, you are completely out of luck, and completely out of money.

I ordered five men’s deodorants ($130CAD) they sent me five lady deodorants. I followed up and received an email requesting additional information, which I provided. Subsequently, no reply. I have sent additional emails and they have all been ignored.

Shopping from this company, you take your chances on getting what you ordered or not getting what you ordered and being out the money.

"Two months of frustration and still counting"

It’s been around two months since I’ve placed my order and much have happened since other than completing the initial order nor responding to the actual questions and requests in my emails.

So, I made and order for 11 bottles the size of 500 ml. When the package arrived all bottles were 100 ml which I naturally returned. I have now been promised a refund for the bottles.

However, British Essentials is not refunding the shipping cost even though I have been charged for sending 11 heavier bottles of 500 ml. = 250 DKR. When I returned the parcel it was less than 1,5 kilogrammes.

Furthermore, it says on their website that British Essentials will only refund shipping when the return is due to a mistake in their end. So far they do not live up to this promise and have refused to refund the shipping. I am frustrated with this malhandling from British Essentials that’s lasting week after week after month.

This was my first and last order at British Essentials.

Update 12th January 2024: I have received a refund of the goods themselves but still no response on my email from the 24th of December where I (once more) kindly request a refund of the overprized shipping cost of the allegedly 11 x 500 ml. bottles while the package itself only was 1,5 kg of small 100 ml bottles.

I’m amazed how something so logically apparently is so hard to grasp. Still, I hope for a refund.

"Terrible customer service"

Terrible customer service! I placed my order, paid for the items and nearly three weeks later my order remains unfulfilled and undelivered. I can’t get any meaningful response from any of the customer service channels and have had to buy the items elsewhere in the meantime. I definitely DON’T recommend this company - utterly awful
