"dreadful"
on arrival were checked in by a nice lady, problem was she was eating a spring roll at the same time, hotel was very dated ,but clean, we wanted to have a glass of wine from the bar , as it was lovely afternoon ,but there were no staff to be found ,went out for one in the end, evening meal was horrible, soup which was cold , roast pork dinner which was 1 slice of pork looked like one from a supermarket pack. 3 frozen roast potatoes and veg, not well cooked worst meal I have had my husband had ham salad, again 3 slices of processed ham , 3 new potatoes and small salad , not good, bedrooms very old fashioned no basin in bathroom it was in the bedroom part, the lift was very small, breakfast ok apart from the eggs which were very small and hard, there was no good atmosphere in the dinning room it was very quiet and drab, I have put 2stars from your list above but in all honesty would not give it even one, so pleased we had only gone for one night, if we hadnt paid in advance we would have left straight away, wish we had now.

"very good value de luxe room, lovely position"
We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived because we had only paid £50 per night bed and breakfast for 2. But all the carpets in the hotel were new, there was a lift, and our room was huge, newly carpeted and with a 4 poster bed! The breakfast was great served by very cheerful ladies, and the hotel was only a few steps away from the promenade with great views over Scarborough

"Beautiful country house with luxurious room"
This was such a pleasant surprise. We stayed for a week in the colleridge suite. The enormous bed was really confortable and the room and separate luxurious bathroom were lovely. You are staying in a family home- not a boring b and b. The family are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast. WiFi is free. Probably best for people with a car as it is a country house. Highly recommended.

"Top rooms, bottom price"
I have used a few websites for hotel rooms, as we go away frequently, but found this one to be easy to use and found a bargain too :)

"A Wonderful Stay"
On arrival to the Thislewwod Hotel the froont of the building was bright and colourful.
Ample Parking for the car. The room we were allicated was large with a wonderful bay window to the front. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast between 7am- 9am suited very well also very plentiful. Short walk to local pub which served beautiful food. Would recommend this hotel 4miles away from busling Manchester city centre.

"Lovely, relaxing & tranquil"
Great place to stay set in lovely place. Excellent hosts, very clean, tidy, and well presented. Just nice to sit in the garden and watch the wildlife.

"Low quality customer care assistance."
I did not stay in this hotel becuase an unplanned changed in my programme occured. Although I have adviced well in advance MJB did not refund me.
However, I have to say that it was not that bad not staying there, becuase when I was in Norwich I passed by, and from outside this hotel looks really unusual with its painted windows, and very cheap.
I do not think I never will make a booking again. Especially becuase there are much better solutions for the same price nearby.

"Homely and welcoming on a snowy weekend."
Such a lovely atmosphere at Heidi's, we really felt we were simply staying in a friend's spare room. Breakfast was a perfect kick-start to each chilly morning, and Heidi and her temporary stand-in were more than willing to offer advice and suggestions on the city. The room and en suite bathroom were comfortable and nicely renovated. Some previous guests have commented on the size of the room, but that is the pay-off for stying in a beautiful period property, and having you rown bathroom.

"Freezing cold"
I have responded to an earlier review and commented that our stay in Marigold Cottage was marred by lack of heating in the bedroom on a night that was below freezing.
I have received no response to that complaint so I am very dissatisfied
