Shocking customer service, lintel not delivered on time, week late, rang 4 times nokne has a clue what's going on, never phone back, delayed my job meaning unhappy customer, started refund process see how that goes!!!

I ordered a Velux window mid-pandemic.
Unfortunately it was delayed longer than usual and someone called from Condell and immediately let me know the situation.
When it came into stock, it was delivered no problem. I was always able to speak to someone on the phone and they were really helpful. I would definitely recommend Condell for other large building purchases.

"Velux Windows - On time and great customer service"
I needed 3 electric Velux windows and flashings. Spoke to Jake on web chat who told me they were expecting a delivery later that week so I ordered 3 and paid for courier 48 hour delivery and was told to check back on the Friday to check they has come in. Ended calling on the Monday and was told they were delayed but expected that day. They were shipped when arrived on 24hr delivery and no additional charge to ensure they arrived on time. One of the windows arrived damaged in transit and a replacement was sent straight away. Great customer service by Jake throughout the whole process and would highly recommend.

I needed a Velux weatherstrip for a slate roof, credit to Conor, who checked the stock, put it aside, called back, confirmed he had it and was available, then took the order and arranged the delivery. Nice to have a level of service that has been lost or forgotten in most places.

"What you need in uncertain times..."
I've been dealing with Condells directly for over 6 months now and have them as my first point of contact ever since being let down badly by a previous merchants.
The man to get hold of is Conor Foley at the Sutton branch. He's incredible at sourcing products and what sets him apart is his communication. Many times in the past I've been let down by builders merchants not letting me know stock levels or timescales when buying the products, but Conor has been the opposite and has always been very clear.
I highly recommend you giving them a try if you're doing a significant building project.

"Absolute shambles"
Absolute shambles, I ordered one lintel over a month ago and been told it has been lost during delivery….twice! A 4.50m lintel which has been lost…twice!
You have to laugh really but my project has ground to a halt until I have this lintel.
No one calls you back and you have to chase them…Matt tries but there’s no solution.
Pay a bit more and go locally, I should of in the first place.
I’ll start the refund process now and see how this goes.

"Amateur and indifferent"
Their mistakes/lack of action cost us a month unnecessary delay and huge knock -on costs on a project. We needed an extra long lintel. After taking payment for the wrong one they sent ME to ask catnic if it existed even though Catnic will only sell via merchant. Gave condell all details, they took payment and gave a long lead time of 4 weeks special order, disappointing but fair enough. After 3 weeks I chased it to get an eta and found out they had forgotten to order it , which they tried to worm out of and didn't even call back to explain, let alone apologise after multiple calls from me. It eventually arrived another 3 weeks after that. We had to stop a project at a critical point with a customer's house in pieces while this was sorted out and go and start other work, leading to huge pressure to deliver the projects.
We then discovered that we'd been charged for a total of 3 different lintels, 2 wrong ones in addition to the one actually delivered.
Incredibly amateur and indifferent. Don't let these people ruin your business with their shoddy attitude.

Excepted a fairly long lead time for delivery, but assured of a delivery date. Lintels arrived (22) one missing. only 2 lintels were undamaged, 13 minor bends, 6 badly bent, 1 kinked in the middle. “Manager will deal with this!” Chased via email and telephone. Still waiting.

I needed a 3.9M lintel and found Condell on my google search. I found their web site easy to navigate and found exactly the size I required. Condell gave me a delivery date as it was a bespoke item and it arrived on the day they said it would. A great product and very helpful delivery driver.
We are very pleased with the product and the all round service we received. Great work! Cheers Condell.
