"Called Geeks2U over the Xmas break"
Called Geeks2U over the Xmas break. The operator was on to it immediately. We had a tech person the following day. Told us the problem, which was the hard drive was stuffed. Next day he (Muhammed) was back and took time, understanding and kindness to set up my 80 year old employer's computer. Would highley recommend the company and especially the tech.

Three appointments have been made and cancelled by Geeks to you. I have given one star because they answered the phone and no more as not service has been provided.

"No fear or trepidation using Geeks."
Geeks set up a printer for me. I am 74 and not tech minded, hence I feel a bit of fear and trepidation when approaching people for help. The Geeks representative was outstanding and totally understanding of my lack of knowledge. The job was done efficiently, in a totally friendly manner, and I will have no hesitation in calling Geeks again for any tech issue.

Alex took time to listen to my explanation of the problem and my concerns, after a previous technician's visit had resulted in the initial problem reoccurring. I had an emergency, contacted Geeks they made an appointment, arrived before time, having contacted me first to see if it was ok to come early. Fixed the problem, gave me good advice. I have used them before and will certainly use them again.

Problem of all icons disappearing after Windows 11 download was solved with careful checks of the laptop. Jacob was careful, methodical, answered questions and was knowledgeable about possible problems. The issue of an interrupted download turned out to be the key to the problem. A very competent Geek.

"Rip off"
Told Geeks2u I had an issue with gaming.
Geeks2u got my credit card details before they would visit, which should have been a red flag.
First technician couldn't solve the issue, after using the forum and chatting with fellow technician on his mobile phone.
Geeks2u took $150 out of my credit card,
I rang and complained. Geek2u solution was to send out a second geek.
Second technician same as the first, the technician told me to get Geeks2u to send someone who knew something about gaming issues. WTF
Geeks2u charged me another $150
So now they wanted me to spend another $150 for a third visit with no guarantee.
I would have preferred they be honest and tell me they couldn't fix my problem, so I could have moved on to find someone who could.
Trustpilot wanted me to be specific & honest, well I am.
