"Friendly"

Friendly, quick and all up and running smoothly - if only the same could be said of the interaction with Telstra who, despite their High Fees and Charges, seemingly deliberately make things difficult. As the least nerdy-person I would recommend Geeks2U and will, when needed use again. Thanks, Paul!

"Technician"

Technician, Chris, arrived on time. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to repair problem. He then showed me what I needed to do to make the printer work for me. Very efficient.

"Worst Tech Ever"

I must have gotten the worst tech on the planet. First day he arrives late, charges me $400 and gives me an invoice from Geeks2U. He charged me $ 120 for a piece of equipment that costs no more than $35 at Officeworks. I can understand some kind of mark up but that was daylight robbery. When I booked the appointment with Geeks2U I was promised a discount as I am on a disability pension. He refused saying whatever deal I had with Geeks2U had nothing to do with him. When leaving, he hands me a business card showing Jims IT Services. Their number was scribbled out and replaced with his personal mobile number. Anyway, Day 1 did not solve any of my computer/communications issues. I phoned the private mobile number on the Jim's card he gave me and he came back the next day (not the same day as he said he had to research the problem) and charged me another $150 and still nothing was fixed. Seemed like he wasn't quite sure of what he was doing. He was as cold as ice, impossible to talk to and I was made to feel very uncomfortable. Never again! I then put out a call on Facebook and found a fabulous tech who lives locally. He had everything up and running in a very short time. Problem was not complicated at all. According to this tech, the part I was charged for looked like it had not been replaced at all and he indicated that I'd been ripped off at that price. Furthermore, that part had nothing to do with the problem at all. I asked this rip off dodgy tech for an itemised invoice.....all I got was a receipt sent to my mobile. I'm still waiting for this itemised invoice as I intend to follow this through.

"Fast and effective service available at very short notice"

They were available at very short notice to come to my home and fix the 'crash' problem with my computer. Muhammad quickly understood and resolved the problem I had, allowing me to get back to work within very short time from my initial enquiry.

"Bad service and overdue notices"

I had a tech come out - he could not fix my issue so he said he would come back next day. He did not come back and Geeks 2u started sending me the invoice saying i did not pay which i did.
They said they will send another person who will fix the issue free of charge. Tech came could not fix my issue or help me. I was charged for this service, and they referred me to a debt company now.

I spent nearly 200 for initial consult which could not help me and now they want me to pay 158 dollars and are sending the debt company after me.
For a service fee which should have been free.
My issue has not been resolved still.

"Unfortunately I was not happy with the…"

Unfortunately I was not happy with the technician I had. Given I’m not a Geek which is why I contact your service I was not expecting this guy to say “why did you buy that for” in relation to an inadequate router that I bought. It was incredibly rude and in my home too. Frankly I wondered if it revealed a sexist attitude. I won’t use you again and will use JB HiFi.
