If I could give no stars I would. We were on the opposite end of DirectionLaw, our buyers used them as their solicitors. By god the worst experience of my life, not only did they delay our sale by 2 months but their responses were unreasonably slow, blunt and rude. All because the case handler was busy working on a project and didn’t have time to give updates on the progression of the case. Our estate agent labelled them as the rudest and most unprofessional firm they’ve ever had to deal with and swore they’ed never deal with them again. We were in a position to buy our new house from December 2021 but couldn’t until directionlaw did what they were paid to do and complete on the sale of ours. To be clear we weren’t a client of directionlaw our buyers were and I never want to deal with the firm in any way ever again. Please avoid this firm with a barge pole they’re terrible for all parties involved. No matter how often we chased they had no interest in helping anyone involved. By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. We used two different solicitors for the sale and purchase and both deserved 5 stars which is a stark difference. I tried to call to raise concerns and complain to be told to write a review instead because they don’t have a complaints process for non client complaints. Just avoid.
