I have used th health check before and was very pleased with the outcome this time I done food intolerance and was surprised that it was said I was lactose intolerant and not what I thought was gluten so do need to change my diet

"Great follow up customer service"
My original review - edited as well: I used two lancets, got a reasonable amount of blood but the dropper just stopped at a quarter of the way up and refused to fill up any more. So all in all a pointless waste of time. I did try with the tiny bit of blood I did get out - and that also was difficult to extract without hitting it several times against the cassette - so I have no idea if the result it provided (negative) is correct or not.
The team at My Health Checked immediately reached out to me to talk to me about my experience, offer advice and also straightaway offered to replace or refund the kit. I opted to receive a new test kit which I received in a couple of days. Their customer service is very attentive and if you had problems like I did, don’t hesitate to speak to them about it as they are more than happy to offer a lot of support. For this reason, I would definitely give these tests a try as you can be sure, from my own experience anyway, that support is on hand.

After making me send them "more details regarding what I want to know", the sent me a message that had the gist (direct quote) "while some recommendations may sound familiar, their true value comes form how they are personalized based on your genetic result" and then proceeded to copy paste the same thing in the profile. Now I'm really done :)) Fully avoid!

Nothing wrong per say, just quite a disappointing amount of information. I got a few dimensions I was meant to monitor and some that are apparently ok, but it was so vague and high level it's like reading the horoscope: it's not wrong, and if you squint it fits, but it's not very helpful either. I was going to try some of the other tests, but it's really not worth the time and money. Sorry :(

It's quite expensive when you don't really get much of an analysis in thr results. I recieved my results but no real explanation to help me understand what my results mean. I expected more. Was a quick service though.

"This product didn't work for me"
I bought this product which promised "a range of rapid tests" at "our UK based lab" on 10th August from Boots who disclaimed any responsibility for it despite advertising, stocking, selling and distributing it. The product website showed doctors and lab staff. However, the lab Acculabs Diagnostics (AL) is not part of HMC and the lab staff do not work for MHC. AL acknowledged receipt of my sample but did not process it, later claiming that I had only sent one tube, which is not true. They made no attempt to contact me over this. My excellent customer care agent helped me with this and the poorly constructed system, which frequently required information I had already provided, and arranged another kit. Despite extensive physical preparation my second sampling was more difficult and I was not surprised to be told that it had homolysed. I have since discovered that finger sampling is more difficult with my low blood pressure and pulse, also that the instruction to "Position the lancet on the side of the selected finger" is probably wrong and I had been misled by this. Today, 5th September, I decided not to make a third attempt. The product is very worthwhile but Boots could and should provide venous sampling where necessary. I was very satisfied with MHC's mature response but very disappointed with the outcome.
