"Cheaters and Liars"
If there was a rating less than 1 star, I would have given that. This travel agency is an absolute scam as they take money from people by giving them fake reassurances and fake promises and when the payment is done they forget all of their promises and don't even reply or pickup their call. We recently performed Umrah through them. We bought the Umrah package in August and found out few days before our departure that the hotel we got in Madinah is not even the hotel we actually paid for. Apparently the initial booking got canceled due to renovation or construction work at the hotel. So we called the hotel directly and spoke with the room reservation department. Rooms were available for the dates we needed. And they didn’t have any cancellation happening due to constructions or renovations at that time. I called Al Madinah Travels again. As usual they didn’t pick up. I tried sending them messages on WhatsApp. No reply. After trying to get hold of the agent multiple times finally we got hold of their floor manager Zahid Saleem. His response was like this “we don’t have any control over hotel bookings since we work through vendor but we are still working on it.” They kept saying once they receive the confirmation from their Saudi office they will let us know. Not did they change the hotel to the similar hotel as they promised nor did they let me know anything. The hotel we got in Madinah was a 2 star hotel even though we paid for the Five Star Luxury Package. They gave us a room that wasn’t smoke free. The room and the hallway smelled like cigarettes all the time. Rooms are outdated and falling apart. Bedsheets have stains and bathrooms are outdated and super filthy. The bathroom smells like urine and tiles are gunky.
The elevators take ages to come. We waited for approximately 15-20 minutes every time. Our room was on the 14th floor so couldn’t even use the stairs. It was our first time going to umrah and our experience with this agency was the worst. They have no honesty or accountability. They booked the cheapest stuff and charged us the most expensive prices. Please do not fall for the cheap 5 star packages as they advertise. My sister and her family went to Umrah through them a week before me and she faced the same thing.
It was genuinely the worst experience with this agency. Not worth the money AT ALL. A scam. I would never recommend to anyone

"Dishonest and scams"
Dishonest and scams, on top worst costumer service,
I booked a umrah luxe with double, we ended up in triple room with tiny bed, they said that there is a guide, no guide no service, the driver does not speak neither English nor Arabic, and on top of that when I asked him to stop in one of the ziarat, he said “ if I stop, I will let there , I can not wait for you “
And when I came back home, I called to complain, the guy was rude, dishonest and liar , when I told him that I booked for double and we were in triple, he said “yes because we gave an upgrade “ which was a lie it was the same hotels from the beginning.
I don’t advise people to go with them, they are not professionals at all,
Sonia

"An honest and fair review"
For the success & improvement of a business as well as to be fair with the customers, it is extremely important to be very honest, fair and unbiased when writing a review. I will do my best in that light.
This was my 6th trip to Saudi Arabia (and my wife's 4th one) that included a Hajj and 5 Umrah Alhamdulillah. We plan to do more by Allah’s willing (InnShahAllah). However, this was our 1st trip with Umrah International.
First, let me start with the positive notes on my experiences:
1. Al Madina price was reasonable.
2. While we reached at Medina, we met Br. Fahad Babar Malik who was mannered and accommodating to listen to my concerns and suffering (listed below) during the process.
3. To partially compensate our pain -he tried his best and offered the following gestures.
i. He was kind to provide us a ‘private car trip’ from Medina to Makkah. Much appreciated.
ii. They provided free lunch to all the passengers during Medina to Makkah trip.
iii. Br. Malik managed to give us a private room in Makkah (couple room, although we had originally booked for quad shared room). Very much appreciated.
The things to improve are however vast:
1. The ‘one star’ rating I gave was for Br. Malik’s curtsy only. Unfortunately, I could not give overall more than one star (*) review based on all the misery we faced right after our payment was made.
2. Br. Mubashir Ali was my travel agent. He is a nice person but his communication needs big improvement. The flight date and schedules have changed many times, which made me extremely nervous. I had awfully hard time to even contact him and getting back answers from him on time.
3. I was uncertain even till the day before my trip. I got very nervous and started thinking if we were at all going for Umrah or not.
4. No clear idea on how, when, where to where we are going and what are the schedules etc. It was a BIG mess indeed.
5. We were supposed to be trained and clarified the journey (a-z) via an on line lecture prior to the trip, to make the Haji’s aware of the plan, Umrah education and overall trip, but it never happened.
6. It seemed Mubashir was way understaffed and over worked and thus overwhelmed by the tasks in his hand.
7. I received a different flight in a different route than what I was initially given and I had to buy another extra domestic ticket for their mistake. Frequent schedule change made difficult for me at my work place.
8. The latest flight schedule that was finally assigned to us at Ethiopian airline was another disaster. The route was horrible, we spent about 42 hrs. on the trip (which should have been less than 16 hrs.) with three stop over’s.
9. There was no coordination for ground transportations from Jeddah to Medina. We waited for over three (3) hours at the Jeddah airport and made so many phone calls, emails and texts to contact the drivers to pick us up without luck.
10. No prior communications were made on who would receive us at Jeddah and and there after. My wife got sick at the airport on waiting after a loooong journey and was extremely upset, it was a disaster for a holy journey.
11. No prior information was given about the updated phone or SIM system in Jeddah airport.
12. After over 3 hours of waiting we finally got hold of a driver with the help of an Arab person.
13. We went to Medina and got a different hotel in Medina than what we were promised.
14. They were unable to decide which room to accommodate to which customers. After waiting for a long at the lobby, the tired and exhausted bodies finally received the rooms.
15. My scheduled stay period had to be shortened due to their scheduling issue.
16. Alhamdulillah, after Median - the trip started to get little better though. Alhamdulillah we performed our Umrah quite well and got a better place in Makkah as mentioned earlier.
17. On return back home we lost one of our luggages with Ethiopian airline and still is missing :).
Final Note: Our Umrah was great, Alhamdulillah. "Umrah International" is a relatively newer company. I believe they have good intention and want to serve people. I also believe that they can shine and prosper should they take some more proactive role and implement better organization and communication skill. My suggestion for ‘Umrah International’ would be to follow the business model of ‘Dar-al Salam’ or ‘Adam Travel’ and employ some more staff. I wish and pray “Umrah International the success in future.

"The Worst Travel Agency"
Very disappointed with this Travel Agency. Firstly, the original flight reservations we had agreed on before they took my payment turned out to get cancelled the day before my trip, due to reasons unknown although they claim it was due to the carrier, thus I was given totally different arranged flights with 2-3 multi-stops in between which delayed my arrival by +24hrs gone from my stay. My Saudi eVisa was not issued to me on time and due to "errors on their end" which only began to led me to believe how unorganized this agency is. I would like to also note that I only had 5 nights of stay for their "7 night Umrah Group Package". My designated driver who was in charge of picking me up at the Jeddah Airport when I first landed was not informed to wait & pick up 2 other passengers back to the Medinah Hotel so while we left the Jeddah airport to Medinah, we had to make a complete U turn to pick up those 2 guests which only ate away more time from this trip. Getting picked up and dropped off to my hotel took almost 8 hours in this process alone due to the miscommunication when it should have taken half of that time. On my way returning back home at the end of this trip, from of the excessive stops between connecting flights, one of flights departed at the same time of arrival so I tried to run to the next gate to hopefully make the flight however they had already departed which I knew would affect the progress of my belongings. I lost my baggage+carry on returning back home since my carry on was stripped from me on one of the flights that ran out of space during this process and was left with barely any belongings on me while I had a 3 multi-stop flights. This Umrah trip had so many major inconveniences for me, if I could give them zero stars I would. I spoke with other members travelling with this Agency at the hotel about my inconveniences and they also felt like this agency was not up to their competitors standards with accounts of miscommunication, last minute cancellations, and excessive connecting flights. I will not be returning with this Agency as it was the worst agency I had used so far. They also called me to refuse being held accountable for this review and asked me to take this down with no accommodations for such inconveniences besides hopefully booking with them again in my next Umrah saying "they will remove any profit off my next Umrah inshallah". These guys really upset me during an important time of peace with false led expectations. They have already tried to report this review to try to censor it and get it taken down with TrustPilot asking for proof of transaction with Al Madinah Travels LLC.
