"The car was fine but salesman super unresponsive"

The car we bought was fine but had some issues. Our salesman was not the most responsive and failed to do things he promised before and after delivery. Here are some of the issues:

1. When we test drove the car, it was covered in white dog hair. We assume previous owner owned a white dog. Salesman promised to have the car professionally detailed before delivery. Upon receiving the car, the same hairs were in the same place, so it never got detailed.

2. The dog hair continues to be an issue. We've had the car detailed and replaced all air filters and the dog hairs continue to come back. Super annoying to buy a car and have this issue. Luckily we're not allergic to dogs.

3. Car came without the jack handles. Salesman told us to just buy off of Amazon and we would be reimbursed. We were never reimbursed nor would salesman respond when asked about that. It was only $20 so I'm not going to rage out about that but again, another issue of salesman not delivering on a promise.

4. Car only came with one key. Any new Honda comes with two. Again, salesman said they could order another set for us at dealer cost. Since retail is $150, that sounded great. But again, repeated attempts to follow up with salesman to get said key at "dealer price" did not illicit any responses.

5. Temporary tags and title were incorrectly filled out. My wife's name was spelled incorrectly and the wrong address was listed. Also, you are not given the title immediately upon purchase even if you paid for the car entirely. I understand there's a company policy about this which is fine, you have to wait 5 days for them to send it. We got our's in 10. This caused us some issues when applying for permanent tags and title.

The car is fine and we enjoy it despite the issues. We moved across the country soon after purchase and it handle the long drive like a champ. However, we would probably not buy another car from CarBiz again due to the lack of responsiveness and failure to execute on promises.

The experience was good. Salesman was very knowledgeable and I liked the indoor facility. It didnt feel like a car lot. It was like shopping for a car at IKEA. The only small issue I had was the delivery part. Could have been cleaned inside better

I ran across these guys while doing a lot of online research looking for a specific used car I wanted. They're a breath of fresh air compared to most used car lots. The sales people aren't on commission and they try to make the buying process feel more like a trendy electronics purchase than a car purchase. They'll deliver a vehicle to your door if you like, even if you live close to an hour away like I did. And while I was there, I literally saw people come in to look at and test drive cars they flat out said they just "wanted to check out, but aren't really interested in buying". That was no problem for this place. They even made the effort to find me a better interest rate on my loan than the already good rate my credit union approved me for. A+
