"ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. BIG "F" FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE."

Absolutely the MOST HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME. They will not give a damn about your dependency on their service. They will ask you to spend $250 to speak to someone for even ONE phone call. They respond days later via email with a link to an online support doc. They refuse to reach out to you. The company is obviously run by Silicon Valley tech nerds with no pulse. They create a garbage programming language based on XML and act like it's some terrific application programming. Meanwhile, in order to implement anything, you need to be able to be a programmer in PHP, Java, C++ or otherwise. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER METHOD OF IMPLEMENTING SMS INTO YOUR WORKFLOW, DO THAT INSTEAD!!

"TWILIO HAS VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!"

I usually don't leave reviews but I am so upset of how Twilio treated me and my business that I feel an obligation to do so. Twilio has very bad customer service. If your app, website or product depends on its service like API or SMS, I would look somewhere else like Plivo or other service providers. Twilio suspended my account for weeks on an error through their system and through numerous emails, they took their time to unsuspend it while my business was being damaged every day by it. I would never recommended Twilio to any businesses or consumers.

"Twilio doesn't want you, please consider a competitor"

Would have selected no stars if possible.

I created an account, and got suspended immediately. I didn't even have the chance to use their service. Don't waste your money or time to this company with virtually no capabele support agents.

It took them 2 days to come up with this nonsense:

"A scam with tons of hidden charges"

Set up an account, was told I have a free toll-free number to use, then when I spend the time learning and setting it up- that to use it I had to register it Then to register it, I had to create a paid account- paid them 20 dollars then to be told I have to perform another registration. I then fill out this long registration form (THREE TIMES, because the first two times gave errors), and then I am told to wait for a few weeks for it to be approved. Then the next morning, I receive an email saying my account has been suspended because of low funds. It turns out that they charged me $21 dollars for 'messaging configuration' and now I need to pay more?! I haven't even been able to use this service yet once? This is literally a scam, I was just trying to setup SMS communication with a personal app I was building.

Suspended my account since I paid to upgrade the account! Customer service? not helpful at all, asking me submit tons of information to reactive the account, I feel being treated like a thief.

"Terrible customer service.....virtually…"

Terrible customer service.....virtually non-existent. You have to submit a ticket to get help but you also need to log in...but can't login because of MFA, so can't submit a ticket...so no help. It's like the chicken vs the egg....in order to need help you need help but can't get help until you ask for help which you need help to do....wth.

"Absolute scam!"

Immediately after I paid for the upgrade of the account, they restricted our account and asked for more information about our use-case. After providing them with all information, they booked more money from our PayPal again (without us using the service) and then right after sent us an email saying they suspended our account without any reason, asking for the same information again. We answered those questions clearly already. The support answers are not at all related to what we communicated with them. We contacted them again, sending over all requested information and asking them to resolve the issue. As there was no answer whatsoever, we checked their trustpilot rating and understood that that's their typical scheme to scam users out of hundreds up to even thousands of dollars, which is why we have no trust at all that we will ever receive the service we paid for or that they will refund our money by themselves.

Would give 0 stars if possible was hired to this company and they tried sending me a check and my bank said it was fraud if you get hired to this company beware I’d stay far away , they try sending 1350 for equipment and my bank tore them apart STAY AWAY

"Extremely horrible experience"

Extremely horrible experience. My account is blocked saying fraudulent activities. I have been talking to customer service for three days. It took a while to get any customer rep on the call. None of them had no clue other than repeating the phrase, "Follow the instructions on the email". She had no clue what the email was and what it would take to unblock the access. She had no clue what the fraudulent activity was. The link in the email points to my account which will merely display reach out to the customer service. And the customer rep will keep saying follow the email. A classic catch 22 situation and a completely bizarre way of resolving an issue causing a business losing money? My salon business is affected severely due to blockage as it is not letting the customers know about the appointment confirmation or reminders.
