I ordered an iPad Air 5th Gen during the Black Friday sale, using a 20% discount. Instead, I received the wrong product—a completely different iPad (10th Gen). Mistakes happen, but the way Stock Must Go has handled this has been incredibly disappointing.
When I reached out, I received what felt like a generic response assuming I wanted to return the item, with no real acknowledgment of their mistake. After further communication, they finally reserved the correct iPad for me but only on the condition that I return the wrong one first. While I understand this as part of their process, the lack of urgency or effort to resolve their error is frustrating.
I had to arrange a collection, go out of my way to fix their mistake, and wait for the wrong product to be returned before they’d send me what I originally paid for. Despite my frustration, there’s been no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused or any offer of compensation.
I was particularly shocked to hear that the 20% Black Friday discount I used wouldn’t be honored if I had opted for a refund and repurchase. Thankfully, they have agreed to send the replacement (once they receive the incorrect iPad) but this experience has made it clear that Stock Must Go values their own convenience over providing good customer service.
I purchased from them after seeing positive reviews, but I would now caution others to think twice. This is also your sign to check the product you have been sent is correct!
If something goes wrong, you’ll likely be left jumping through hoops to resolve it yourself. Stock Must Go—please do better.

Amazing price followed by fast next-day delivery, and the product is as promised. I was initially sceptical of how the purchase would go, as the item I bought (a refurbished computer graphics card) has the potential to go wrong, and the price was almost too good to be true. Laptop was described as being in 'excellent' condition however the battery is shot to hell, something that even the most basic, rookie tester would have picked up on. The machine only works when connected to the mains power!
So, either your testing team need some serious upskilling, or your company is willingly sending out kit that simply doesn't work as described. What a disappointing 1st (and last) experience with your business.

Item in better condition than expected (refurbished) and packaged very nice and safely. I’d use these guys again.

Delivery time was quite quick, product arrived properly packaged. Unfortunately it wasn’t what I wanted so I returned the laptop, but I got a partial refund minus the delivery fee.
If you’re going to refund a customer make sure you give them a full refund. It’s good business practice.
Update: changed review to 4 stars as they’ve initiated a refund for my delivery charge, great customer service from SMG! Thank you.
