"Dreadful service"

Dreadful service. Car came back in worse condition with things broken and a pair of mechanic’s gloves rolled up and left inside my cup holder of back seat!. Disgusting service. The worse garage I have ever been to

I also feel taken advantage of ( see a couple reviews below) it doesn’t outright say anywhere that when you sign up it’s automatically a 2 year subscription! Yes we must always read the fine print. I was in an accident in which the car was totaled and so could no longer use the service. Not to mention I never even used the rotation or anything else other than the tires. I asked if I could just pay off what I owed on the tires, they said no. I continued to make payments for a bit but then I couldn’t afford it, so I asked if I could make a payment plan to pay off the balance on my 2 year subscription that I was not using and that they were not providing absolutely ANY service of. They said no- they continue to try to charge me every day or every other day to the card on file. They won’t make payment arrangements, they won’t work with me at all even though I’m still offering to pay for a 2 year subscription that I only used about 6 months of, and paid on for about 9 or 11 months, I don’t recall at this point I have to look back in my emails. Scam!!!

I contacted them soon after the accident and continued to pay on it for a few months.
The “paperwork” they provided consisted of an invoice showing the full amount due and summary of the terms. It was not any special paperwork that helped with my insurance claim, just an invoice.

As I said in my review, I felt I had no choice and continued to pay them as I understood that I signed up for it wherever I overlooked the terms or not.
I have emails from the last several weeks going back and forth with “Treads” through their “help@“ email and requesting payment arrangements while explaining my “unique” situation and they just basically said too bad and that I just need to continue to pay on this subscription until paid up.
No payment arrangements are being accepted. I did overlook the 2 year subscription part when I signed up in March of 2023 so maybe they’re more obvious about it now, but I feel they should be subject to TILA. “Truth in lending act” since they are extending a credit of sorts.
Thanks for the reply Treads let me know if you’d like me to forward all my recent emails to your “help” email again, since it sounds like they were somehow lost.

"They only care about money"

I used Treads for my vehicle (at the time) and had no issues.. after selling that vehicle in April of 2024, I continued to pay my monthly service fee, even though I no longer use the service.. only 2 payments left.
Here's my issue...
I referred someone to Treads... after 5 months, she was in a vehicle accident and her car was "totaled"... she continued to pay the monthly fee even after no longer having the vehicle. Her financial situation changed and she could no longer pay the monthly fee.. She has spoken with several representatives from Treads in making payment arrangements, in the hopes they would stop trying to charge her card for past payments every ffew days... it's because of their unwillingness to work with her that I will never use or refer someone to use Treads in the future.
