I bought 2 items for about £15 total and was offered a £5 introductory discount. I was not aware or agree i would be charged £29.99 per month. I did not receive any sort of a contract or reminder of any cancellation policy.

I joined this scheme by mistake when buying cheese from cheddar cheese company. When I raised this with Moona, they quickly replied, cancelled my membership and repaid the fee. They also let me keep the discount I unknowingly applied. If that’s the service you get when leaving, can only imagine it’s awesome when in the scheme too.

I have signed up a Membership with Moona Telling me it will cost me Less then £10.00 per Month paid in advance for 3 Months £29.99 After 2 Months they have recharged me £29.99 claiming that it was for 1 Month only! i still have the email with the offer.
Customer service told me they are not aware of this offer!

SCAM COMPANY .. HIJACKED MY CARD DETAILS ON A LEGITIMATE SITE using a "Pay with visa get £5 off button" . It signed me up to their "club" without my knowledge with a £29.99 monthly membership fee. I only discovered what had happened when I found their email in my spam folder. The email was so odd and vague it got me suspicious. It mentions a club with sone benefits but doesn't actually say I've been made a member, and it makes absolutely no mention of the money they're going to be taking. All links in the email for further information fail so only by googling for their website did I find out what's happened. A "7-day free trail" again not mentioned in the email. There also wasn't a members area to log into on their site to confirm if I'm a member or confirm my details. Just a contract us phone number that wasn't answered. FRAUD. FRAUD. FRAUD So effing angry. And angry with the legit company that's has also profited from promoting this as their card payment option. SCAM!

UPDATE:
I managed to get through on the phone. Moona said that they normally send 3 emails over a period of days and it's the 3rd email that explains the membership and payments ?????!!! They also argued that its the responsibility of the vendor to explain how Moona operate and it's not not their fault if it's not clear, even though it is Moona's transaction portal that collected my card details, signed me up, and sent it the emails. They were keen to cancel my "free trial" and get need of the phones, and after two attempts even managed to send a confirmation email.

I really don't in understand why anyone would be willing to work for a company that blatantly relies on scam custom. I can only presume they have really low self esteem. Shameful company. Shameful staff.
