"Customer service went above and beyond"

I had a question about installing my chandelier, and they emailed me back the same day with detailed instructions. They were so patient and helpful.

I had a custom sideboard made, and it’s better than I could’ve imagined. The craftsmanship is just so much better than anything I’ve seen in stores.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. We ordered 2 lights. They took 4 weeks to arrive and were of extremely poor quality. Metal seams were not aligned with large gaps, plastic was cheap and flimsy. These were supposed to be ceiling lights and their mounting didn't fit standard American electrical backboxes (for ceiling lighting).

Later discovered that this is drop-ship crap from China that you can buy on Ali-Express for way less than their 500% markup.

Naturally we tried to return and were hit with a 50% restocking fee that is not mentioned anywhere on their purchase page. (Why should I pay to restock this poorly manufactured crap.) Went round and round with their customer service for over 3 weeks before finally having to get a chargeback from my credit card company.

I responded to Residence Supply with the requested information. They don't need to "investigate." They know who I am. There's only 2 or 3 people working there at the most. I'm the guy that blew up their customer service line & email and requested a chargeback because he still didn't get an answer after 3 weeks.

Note to RS - If that's "not the level of service or quality [you] strive to deliver", then don't try to extort money from your customers with a 50% restocking fee. No reputable retailer would ever do that.

Also - maybe you should hire another customer support representative. Raph is probably busy (for the reasons stated in my review), and when he/she is on vacation, nothing is responded to or handled.

I got the Helios Outdoor LED Wall Light for my front door, and it looks so much better than the plain old fixture we had before. It gives off a nice, soft light.

Total scam. Cheap items drop shipped from china. They make money on a crazy return policy that requires you to also pay return shipping. No full refunds back.

I got the Bellatrix Ceiling Light to go above my dining table, and it’s perfect. It’s bright but doesn’t feel overwhelming, and it really ties the room together.
