"Kept trying to get in contact with them…"
Kept trying to get in contact with them about an order for three weeks and still haven’t got anything back. I’ve been trying to place an order and can’t even seem to do something as simple as that.
I’m really wound up as my new Reading home needs logs and finding any good quality logs is easier said than done. Not sure if they are even opeating because of their awful correspondence with customers – website is down, don’t get a response when calling!
They are awful with contacting their customers, very displeased with their bad communication.

Ordered logs before Christmas was told delivery was delayed then cancelled. Been waiting for a refund now for over 6 weeks.

"Never again"
I have only ever ordered from Berkshire Logs since getting a wood burner 5 years ago. At first delivery was within 3 days, but this has continually declined. I ordered again 2 weeks ago (paying online in full) and had a text a week later to give a delivery date of today (2 weeks after the order). 2 days before delivery I get an email to say they cannot fulfil it and I have to wait up to 7 days for a refund.
I went elsewhere. Ordered in the afternoon, delivery next day. The moral of the story is go elsewhere. Berkshire Logs have lost my loyal business. I just hope my refund comes soon!

I’ve not even got my logs yet despite a 2-5 day delivery ( now 7 days). I’ve left phone messages and emails and have had no response as to when or if I will get my delivery. I would be careful using this company as plenty others who offer good service, I only tried Berkshire Logs as I wanted to use a local rather than national company but I was wrong.

"Unfortunately I had a bad experience"
I would like to leave a good review as it seems like a great company - we chose it based on previous reviews. However we had a very poor experience. The delivery was rearranged twice, despite phoning ahead to arrange a specific time when I would be home. I understand there were logistical issues and the owner was apologetic but due to the company using the wrong number I was notified very late (after waiting in all day) and only when I chased 3 times (by phone and online messenger). When the wood eventually arrived, after another cancelled slot, it was damp. I understand errors happen and I hope the company gets back on its feet but it’s a lot of money to pay for a lot of hassle, which resulted in damp wood, so it’s unlikely I would buy from here again.

Good price. Excellent communication. End product was perfect. Very pleased. AND... all the logs were cut to an equal size of about 1 foot in length, which makes stacking the wood pile much easier and quicker.
