"Fabulous experience"
Fabulous experience. From start to finish we were kept updated. The team from sales to fitting including the admin team have been kind and courteous . The doors are exactly what we were looking for and the workmanship is to the highest possible standard. The team fitting were lovely and they cleaned up after themselves too! Would definitely recommend.

"door"
Had new door and side panels fitted. Great quality
Really pleased with the workmanship. Kevin and Jordan were first class. Very tidy workers.
Abby was a great help organising the fitting and kept us up to date from start to finish.

"AVOID!!!!!!"
AVOID!!!!!!! Used to be great - not now...
The initial product is good but the customer service is zero. Sure, they answer the phone but the person you need to speak to is never at their desk and never ever replies to any messages you leave for them.
It's not just me. Phoned lots of times about a leak in my conservatory. "Maureen" is never at her desk and never ever replies to messages which the person answering the phone has supposedly left for her.
I supposedly have a 10 year warranty but they use classic avoidance tactics to not honour it.
My in-laws hassled them for nearly 4 years re a severely leaking conservatory roof (due to terrible installation) which was eventually replaced but only after years of phone calls, surveyors failing to turn up, etc
My neighbour recently had a new door fitted and it has a very clear fault which Andrew Wright are not fixing.
Other neighbours have similar tales to tell including being charged up front for an engineer to attend and assess the claim!!!
I will never use Andrew Wright again.

"DO NOT USE, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE"
We had windows and a composite door fitted around 7 years ago. At the time they mismeasured a window 3 times and left a mess that was not what we would have expected. Dust sheets used on the ground outside then moved to the top of beds. Complaints at this time led to no action, I eventually decided to withhold part of the payment and this brought matters to a head.
The fromt composite door they fitted has failed. I have been told by 2 independant fitters that this type of door is prone to cracking due to heating up in direct sunshine. The door was replaced under the 10 year guarantee, one man appeared at 8am and took till 5pm to fit the door. Two additional fitters appeared in the afternoon and they got the door to fit. Due to not measuring the new door beforehand they completely bodged the job, the painted walls around the door and discoloured by manky hand prints, thereare gaps in the trim and oversize screws sitting proud of the frame. To date, 10 days ago, there has been no response from the company. The man left, did not sweep up telling me that he did not fit doors, he was just an odd job man. They do not care, so beware you have been warned, bad management a workforce that does not seem to care and nil customer service.

"Shocking Customer service."
We reported a defect on our composite door ie,the door colour was fading,at the end of January 2022.
We were asked to send photographs, which we did.On the 7th Feb We were informed that it had been passed to the procurement dept. To order a new door and would be contacted regarding installation.17 weeks later no response.Various emails still indicated a new door was to be fitted, but alas this was one big fairy story,it now seems that the ďoor has to be painted by the manufacturers. If someone is thinking of doing business with this company we would abvise you to think very carefully and read some of the shocking reviews you have been warned.it is now 6months + since this problem was reported.we were informed that the manufacturers would attend week beginning 11 July, weather permitting.well we had 3 completely dry days no one appeared or phoned.we contacted andrew wright Wednesday following week, and were informed that due to various reason they would not be able to attend until middle of August.as we pointed out at the beginning our guarantee is with Andrew wright and not the manufacturers.I would like to point out we do not think this door colour(red) can stand up to uv light
Update
Well,as from today no one has contacted us from both parties.we are now 7months into this saga
Andrew Wrights 10 year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on.As for the customer dept, well we will let you make your own decisions regarding if you ever do business with this company

"Treat customers with contempt."
After reading some positive reviews regarding Andrew Wright, l decided to buy a conservatory from them, all l can say is the people who have had a positive experience with this company, have been very lucky, and when you are spending thousands of pounds it shouldn’t be down to luck.
After signing the contract (a sales slip).. for a conservatory, bi folding doors, 2 sockets, and a finish that would match (my newly landscaped garden) l was told l would receive a detailed quote, this never happened, l didn’t receive any paper work for this work which l asked for repeatedly.
I have had to chase this company all through this work even payments l had transferred to Andrew Wright bank account, l have had to email and ask could they confirm my payments had arrived, acknowledging & thanking a customer for a payment is standard for any responsible business.
All l have had are broken promises from Andrew Wright, dates were given for work to start on my conservatory then the date was cancelled, l gave them my holiday dates and was assured it would all be done before l went on holiday…l had a joiner booked to lay flooring, a date for furniture being delivered & an appointment to have roller blinds measured and this was all supposed to be cancelled due to their incompetence, l ended up in tears due to the dreadful treatment l received from this company.
Building work starts then all the trades disappear to start another job and you are left waiting for weeks for them to come back, they will tell you builders will be with you tomorrow…two weeks passed and the builders still didn’t turn up, l was told 10 days to a fortnight to complete this conservatory…it took 6 weeks, thats how they work, absolutely no regard for the customer.
I have to say, the workmen, installers, plasterer, builders etc..were fabulous, even they are treated appallingly by this firm, a builder was sent to build a small wall, arriving at 8am on a Sunday morning!! to complete this work.
The outside work round the conservatory wasn’t finished and I’ve had to employ a builder to complete brick work that should have been done by AW. (AW insist the work is complete, they filled the trench round the outside of the conservatory with sand!!! Not bricks)..
I was given a £200 reduction as a gesture of goodwill.
I am very glad this nightmare is over & l will never have, to have anything more to do with this company.

"Fantastic service from beginning to…"
Fantastic service from beginning to end. Good price, not the cheapest but not the dearest. From the salesman to the fitter everyone was professional and courteous.

"Very happy with the workmanship"
We have just had four windows fitted by Steph and Jim and we are very pleased with the result. After reading some of the recent reviews, I was feeling a bit concerned about having decided on this company - which we had chosen specifically because we had used them successfully many years ago. There was a bit of a delay getting the job done but the fitters were very pleasant, friendly and efficient. They protected our flooring and carpets and left the place tidy. The windows (sash & case) look good and we were shown how we could swing them in for cleaning. We are delighted with the result.

"Not a good experience"
I had a number of problems before the installation, including a sales person assuring me none of the woodwork would have to be replaced, followed by the visit of a surveyor telling me most of the woodwork would have to be replaced and it will be £260 more expensive than the offer and contract I had already signed before.
After another 2 visits by the surveyor he decided the existing woodwork can be used again and it would not be more expensive. This surveyor also assured me, after being asked 3 times, that all the work would be carried out in one day "no problem".
A day was arranged 21/03/2022 to install the windows. I arranged for somebody to take my son to nursery and pick him up and took a day of work. At 10.30 I called the office if somebody would still come and they told me there was a mix up with the shifts and nobody would come.
We arranged another installation date (25/03/2022) and 2 tradesmen turned up. The first thing they mentioned after looking at the paperwork from the surveyor was that it was put down as a three-man job, which nobody seemed to have regarded as important. Instead of the 3 windows they then managed to install one. After another 2 visits and two more days I had to partly take off work, all three windows were installed. However they forgot to seal the wood around 1 window, did not install the hinges, as agreed in the contract, of another window and needed to come back a forth time.
After the 4th visit everything was done and I explained my dissatisfaction about the whole experience. As an answer I got the standard "we are sorry, but ..." and a 10% discount on a future purchase. Thanks, but no thanks.

"Customer Service seems alien to them. Beware their T's & C's"
Wanted to use them because they were a Scottish company and manufactured in Scotland. Wish I hadn't.
Installer turned up dressed in filthy (and smelly) clothes. 2 windows out of 7 were broken.
I have had different accounts depending on to whom I was speaking as to the status of the installer. Initially Chris, an installation manager, said they were self employed. Then said they were contracted to them 3 days a week. According to Gavin, another installation manager they are contracted 5 days a week. Fact is, my installer was not employed directly by the company. Not what I would have expected.
They fitted the windows. (They had already fitted a broken one before they told me it was broken). Didn't give me a walk round as I have been subsequently told they should. Didn't clean the windows. Cleared up inside but left a mess of debris outside on the driveway and on the roof. Even managed to get mastic on the paviers. Broke the cover of the gas meter, I presume by standing on it to install a window. Left a mark on our (new) carpert and marks on the hall wall. Be sure to read clause 6 of their T & C's because this, according to Chris, absolves them of any damage they may inflict on your property. (I see other reviewers had this same experience. They should be keen to rectify mistakes, not hide behind T & C’s). Didn't leave keys for the windows.
I felt I should have had a reduction for the poor service so I withheld £200 of a £4600 purchase. They were adamant I had to pay it otherwise they said they would invalidate my guarantee. Wrote to Andy Martin the general manager. Apparently he is too busy to reply. Gavin said, if it was Virgin, I wouldn’t expect Richard Branson to reply. Laughable comparison. At least when Virgin Rail service let me down, I got a refund. Have been assured that customer service is important to them but the impression they give couldn't be further from the trusth and I agree with other reviewers that their installation managers could do with going on a customer service course.
An installer came out and replaced the broken windows. He was much better than the original one. I have subsequently very reluctantly paid the balance. Quality of windows seems ok but this is the most defensive company I have ever dealt with. Would have got further windows replaced by them but wouldn't let them in my house again now. Would rather board my windows up. Hope nothing goes wrong with what they installed.
