I would give GoSite zero stars if I could. This company is deceitful and constantly in breach of contract. They fail to perform the duties for which they were hired and seem to have no regard for customer service. To make matters worse, they fraudulently renew annual service agreements without authorization. Their team is unreachable – every call goes straight to voicemail or gets disconnected. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues, no one ever returns my calls. This is an incredibly frustrating and dishonest company to deal with, and I would strongly advise against using their services.

"GoSite is THE biggest business mistake I've made"

The website that GoSite made for my business was so badly designed and so badly managed that I designed my own. I asked to cancel with GoSite but unfortunately I let them convince me they could still act as the middlemen for sending out review requests (for a much reduced monthly payment).

In the summer of 2023, I was told I must comply with "A2P" (it's the phone services checking to make sure you're not spamming people with SMS messages). So I did that and for the next year and more I sent reviews and the GoSite software indicated "Sent". I decided to click thru the pages of Sent reviews and realized NO ONE was even receiving them.

So GoSite's website was telling me the SMS review requests were "Sent" though, in fact, they were not.

I do not accept the blame for not double-checking sooner because 1) GoSite indicated "Sent" to me for all that time. And 2) GoSite collected monthly payments for all that time (a year of payments) without making sure their service is working for me. I think expecting them to make sure their services are working for their clients is a reasonable expectation on my part.

The consequence for my business is that, for the past year, I've had a fraction of the Google reviews for my company that I might have had. Competitors who were trailing me in number of reviews, are now out and ahead.

With no exaggeration, GoSite is truly the single most inept company I have ever worked with. They were not able to deliver ANY service without massively screwing up. So it's both infuriating and even embarrassing that I ever gave them a dime.

"Terrible Experience with GoSite"

Terrible Experience with GoSite

I had high hopes for GoSite, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disappointing. First off, the platform is incredibly difficult to navigate. The user interface is clunky, and finding basic features feels like a scavenger hunt. The onboarding process is poorly designed, leaving users confused and frustrated.

Customer support is another major issue. Response times are sluggish, and when they do get back to you, the solutions provided are either incomplete or not helpful at all. I’ve had to repeatedly contact them for the same issues, which is both time-consuming and infuriating.

Furthermore, the promised integrations with other tools and services are either buggy or nonexistent. This has caused numerous disruptions in my workflow, making the whole system unreliable.

Overall, GoSite has been a major letdown. It’s overhyped and doesn’t live up to the promises made on their website. I would recommend looking for alternative solutions if you value your time and sanity.

I canceled and then they told me there is a 30 day notice.Its a website 30 days for what? They charged 15 days later another 214.00

"Easy to sign up, but a nightmare to discontinue service"

A contractor set us up with GoSite and it has been a nightmare.

It is virtually impossible to actually communicate with a live human being. They added charges to our bill and the only notification of the change was a single email giving you the option to decline the added service. I missed it so we were overbilled for months while I tried to get anyone to answer my emails.

When it came time to cancel service, their cancellation process is unbelievably convoluted. First, per their policy, I sent an email. Then I sent a second email a day later asking why no one responded to the first email.

Then I did the live chat option on their website where I was kept in the chat for almost 30 minutes, most of that time "on hold", while the rep tried to track down what was going on with my emailed "request" for cancellation. And it definitely is a "request", you can't just say that you want to stop doing business with them and have them honor that.

The result of that chat was that I was contacted by two different reps who wanted to schedule a phone interview so they could verify my request for cancellation. The earliest opening was a day later, and from the tone of the call it was pretty clear it was going to be an attempt to keep my business.

Fortunately, telling them that the business is going under and that I am about to be unemployed was enough to get me past this step and on to the next hurdle.

After the telephone appointment, they sent an email with a link to a cancellation form that must be filled out and provided a temporary code that must be used to have the form be accepted.

My husband is in IT and he was quick to point out that any service that you can sign up for online but cannot cancel online is a scam. This is the most ludicrously long and tortuously complicated cancellation process I have ever been through. It isn't possible for me to remove our credit card information from our account page on their website! This place is scam city!!!

Anyway, I have jumped through every hoop they have provided so far. Their terms of service make it clear that I will be billed for at least one more month of a service I am not using, and I have received a confirmation email for my "cancellation request" that reiterated that point. I am *praying* that this is the end of it because I have other things to do before my last day of employment.

This site will take your money make promises they will not fulfill, take your money and make it very difficult to cancel. TOTAL SCAM.

"Absolutely horrendous customer service…"

Absolutely horrendous customer service if you try to cancel, they will run you in circles for months so that they can make a few extra bucks. My suggestion has one that got run around in circles for Months Go to their competitor this company is absolutely horrendous

"When you try to cancel"

When you try to cancel, they make you jump through hoops while continuing to charge you month after month after month. I requested cancellation every month after being charged again. After months of emails and complaining to different departments, I had to schedule a cancellation meeting. Only after months of not being allowed to cancel my service, they finally send me a cancellation form to fill out.

"They kept calling several times a day…"

They kept calling several times a day and finally caught me in a vulnerable moment and I agreed to give their company a try at a lowered trial price. They said I could cancel at any time. I had built a website and because it was new it had low online visibility. They convinced me that they could build a better site and save me time and money. It took a lot of effort to enter all the information that I had already done with my own site. Once they launched the new site my visibility dropped even further down in the search results making my company practically invisible. I told them over a month ago that I wanted to cancel and they made me schedule a call to cancel. The only available date was weeks later, the day before my scheduled payment. They called 45 minutes late for our meeting and told me in order to cancel it would take 30 days and that I would be billed for those 30 days at their regular (non-trial period) rate. I blocked my card. I was told I could cancel at anytime and never told it would take 30days to do so. They are a perfect example of deceptive marketing and subscription based services. Buyer beware.
