"Very rude company"
When you withdraw from a project you get bombarded with very rude phone calls and emails. That is how the company treats returning customers that contracted this company for around £32,000. Withdrawing from a small project, with a value of £3000 will trigger this company”s worst behaviour.

You did not start any work on the property yet and you will never start any. I did not sign a contract with you. After you made several phone calls to me, you begged me to accept to attend to your salesperson as this would keep the person in employment for a bit longer. I made it clear I do not need you for any project in the near future and the most important fact. I NEVER signed a contract with you. Therefore the answer to my review is irrelevant.

"Problem after problem"
Had my conservatory replaced recently and experienced one issue after another from the surveyor not knowing how to use a tape measure to missing parts, I now have a window without the key and a missing a down pipe which didn't need to be removed in the first place.
I wouldn't recommended this company to anyone who wants a hassle free installation. Best avoided.

"My roof is still leaking after seven…"
My roof is still leaking after seven years of complaining. I have heard every excuse from them. I do not recommend conservatory fitted by them unless you want grief !
I do NOT have multiple accounts! Seven years of complaining about leaks. My gutters are cleaned regularly but the rain still comes in.
They just don’t know how to fix it! I feel very cheated and wet.
Update January 2019 and response to Smiths reply. I have to leave this negative review because although Smiths have improved in coming repeated times to repair the blown seals on many windows, they do not seem to know why my conservatory is leaking.
Their rely in retaliation is just as unhelpful. No apologies!
Fact:- Plumbing pipes for washing machine, shower, toilet and electrical wires for central fan lights and wall lights were provided by Smiths. Honour my 10 year guarantee please.

From start to finish Smith's were excellent. The workmen were friendly and professional and when finished left everywhere clean and tidy.

During the time I had the salespeople round a gentleman from a rival company mentioned he used to work for Smiths but left as he was not happy with them. He asked me to check on trustpilot before I considered Smiths as some reviews were poor. I did this but decided to go with Smiths anyway. I am glad I did as the price, product and service were excellent. It transpired that the poor reviews on trustpilot were put their by the ex-employee who was upset as Smiths had to let him go.

"STEER CLEAR"
Reported blown units in may 2018 for the second time, still not replaced under guarantee and yet again had day off work to wait for them for no one to turn up, nearly a 10 months waiting, they measured units wrong twice and now report that theres yet another issue with the new unit, terrible service, communication and twice now have not called to say engineer is not going turn up, absolutely awful STEER CLEAR.
They then try and fob me and this review off saying they can't find my records! Amazing, check your repairs/spares team I spoke to them today, also speak to Jodie your staff member who is in charge of this, you have dealt with us many times over this 9 month joke, standard reply "oh we can't find your details" yes if you can't look harder, yet again terrible service.
Yes we are within the 10 year guarantee (and yes it's 10 years as we have shown, proved and Smith's agreed numerous times (contract number 2100239C) hence why I was waiting at home today for my appointment for the blown units to be replaced and you didn't turn up, yet again, if you had read the complaint properly and considered the information as you should you would know this otherwise you wouldn't be replacing faulty units if I was out of your 10 year guarantee would you......! And nor would I have complained I have waited 9 months for them.... Would I.
