Taking out a new ISA was a very straightforward process - much simpler than the experience which my husband had when doing the same thing via a building society. The only downside was the radio silence between transferring a deposit into the new ISA on a Friday and getting confirmation of this the following Monday. This should really be automated, to relieve customers of the uncertainty.
