"Incredibly Rude"

Incredibly Rude , Matt Brewder from the Norwich branch is in the wrong business . Took £500 deposit on 7th August .Decided against the car .Emailed him on 17th August as it still hadn’t been refunded, to receive an email back from him saying “did I miss something ,what’s the refund for “ ! On the 19th still no refund so emailed again ,yes I used capital letters only for him to ring me and tell me “ capital letters won’t get it back any quicker”.....had he done his job properly in the beginning I would’ve had to email at all...He’s a very unprofessional and rude.Surley a sorry and can I help you with anything else would’ve been the correct way to respond.

"Poor communication"

Poor communication. Was left waiting weeks for a vehicle that was being repaired prior to sale. (The extent of the damage was being kept secret to ensure the sale). They carried out multiple unauthorised searches on my credit file with spelling mistakes among other inaccuracies. I reported this to the branch manager who was even less helpful than the sales rep. Be very careful when dealing with C**is B**e or S**n Po**t*r. Poor from you Robinsons. Bad for VW. (Lowestoft)
Seems like this is just one of many 1 star reviews. Coincidence ? Maybe...

"Unsafe car"

Bought a car with a 12 months MOT which had loads of underlying issues. Required loads of work to put right so was offered a full refund plus partial refund for costs incurred. Unfortunately no travel expenses were reimbursed (Dealer was 3.5 hours away from me) and it took a lot of time and effort for me to get my money back. Things should be done a lot quicker - felt I had to continuously chase it up appose to them keeping me up to date which is a bit of a shame as the initial sale was quite straight forward. The cars safety should also have been assessed in the MOT prior to sale so I was surprised they sold a car that was practically unsafe. Overall poor experience and a lot of unnecessary chasing up was involved. Not a great experience.

"When you buy a car from a franchise…"

When you buy a car from a franchise dealer you expect top service as your paying top dollar. Not in the case of the Lowestoft branch. the way they prepped the car for customer hand over was slow and frustrating and if I had seen the car before handover (because they took so long and I had to leave) the handover would not have happened. they took advantage of my wife's inability to spot a problem. when confronted about the front tyres being very low tread depth for a £26000 car with 5k on the clock, they said its normal for a car like this and passed it as "OK". No !!!! NOT, lesson learnt. do not trust this VW car sales dealership. Should be called Robber-sons.

"Probably the worst dealership I have visited ."

Robinson's Norwich failed at every aspect of customer service during my recent purchase of a car . No call backs , no response to emails , all communication instigated by me . Presented a car covered in bird poo for first viewing . Had I not liked the car and price I would have walked away . Their final gesture was to give me the wrong car keys when I went to collect it . I will not return again .
