We got the new 48V rooftop AC unit a few weeks ago; it came well-packaged and was pretty easy to install. The AC unit works well and is energy efficient. This is the 2nd product we bought from Velit (we got the 24V version for our previous van) and we've been very satisfied

Installed it in my 144 Sprinter van replacing a portable AC. Installation was pretty easy, cut a hole in the roof and drop AC in. All parts needed except sealant were included. It runs extremely efficiently as low as 20A and I can run it all night and day quite easily on my batteries and solar. The remote was defective, but an email to support got them to send me a new remote.

I’m impressed with the 24V Roof Top AC so far. The remote is the only downfall. It’s extremely cheap and doesn’t work half the time. It’s pulling about 700W on Turbo Mode when it’s 110F outside.
