Assembling the bed - twice - was made much easier by the video. All components arrived in excellent condition and materials are really good quality. Using the bed has been really helpful for my wife who has back pain and our normal mattress was simply too firm. Now we each get what we need.

I have been a customer of another brand number bed for over 16 years and had ordered another numerical bed from the same company but had major concerns and second thoughts about my purchase, so I canceled.
I started researching other beds and discovered Personal Comfort Beds and called and got sales agent Nick L! He was nice, and and gave information to best of his abilities at the time.
After two weeks of mulling it over, I decided to purchase on July 12, 2021 I am not as happy with the sales as this bed has been a bear to adjust to. If PCB hold the paten then why compare your beds to the other box company when their beds are different? He recommend me a bed based on what I purchased with the other company! That was the worst thing to do, I was expecting a whole different experience and I have had issues! One, I made a poor choice in my air chambers based on questions that could not be answered correctly which affected my decision in getting a dual chamber which is what I wanted from the start. Number 2, I have been sleeping on flat surface beds for well over 25 years and the sales agent should have recommended a flat top surface topper over the pillow topper. The adjustment to the pillow top for my personal comfort bed has been a nightmare and I have ordered enhancements for better comfort. I now have a custom bed not a true A8. So don't let them fool you by saying their bed had the same feel as the box company!
Comfort Team:
After sleeping on this bed for a few weeks is when i started experiencing back pain and shoulder pain. I have since made some adjustments to my bed such as a new smooth topper and more comfort foam. Yes I had to pay. At the time of this writing I have been working with the comfort team for weeks trying to get a good night sleep. My back is so out of whack now I need a chiropractor for a back adjustment! My body is so confused it is crazy and I am ready to send this bed back! Another pain!
I have had this bed since August 19th 2021 and it is now end of October and I am not all that impressed. I should have waited before i wrote my 1st review; at first I was super happy but in the beginning it was like sleeping on a plush hotel bed and at the end of your vacation you are ready to go back to real comfort! Then here comes the real issues. Toss and turn all night, lack of sleep and wake up stiff!
Personal Comfort Customer Service Team:
Since the order of my bed, I have had several more questions about my purchase, the customer service team is satisfactory, some of the staff are friendly. That department gets a C-. Sometime it can take several calls and emails before you get your answer or needs met.
The Bed Performance:
After sleeping on this bed, I am not comfortable yet (My face looking like the Scream by Edward Munch at the moment)! Still having back pain of which didn't start until I got this bed.
However the quality of the material is top notch compared to the competitor. I have ordered some enhancements as mentioned the pillowtop was hard for me to get used to. Overall, the Bed gets a C+! I am really hoping that the comfort enhancement team can help me get a better sleep otherwise I will be one very unhappy princess! I am for sure sleeping on a pea!!

We were personal comfort bed owners prior to our purchase.
This time around, we spent considerably more and received considerably less.
Delivery was one person, that really had no idea how this bed was assembled. I had to help him carry in the base and mattress and install them, making all the connections.
Immediately we noticed a big difference in the mattress thickness. This A6, the same A6 I had before, was 3" less in thickness than my prior mattress. We slept on this and notice no comfort from this 6 thousand dollar bed. That's a problem. My wife called your customer care office and spoke with them. We sent pictures, at their request and now it's over a week and we still have not heard a word. This is complete nonsense! You offer in your advertising a 120 day return policy. I will expect you to honor it!
We are patiently waiting for a response from your personal care advisor.

"The bed is working out very nicely"
The bed is working out very nicely. Had no problem sleeping from the first night till the present. I previously had a number bed and was able to find my perfect number easily. The only difficultly I have had was the setup, I am in my seventies and luckily my son was there to help. I had a few questions on setup and was able to reach someone to help me immediately and the customer service seems top notch.

This bed is awesome. Easy to install and operate. Too, a representative called about a week later to follow up and ask if everything was to our satisfaction. That is good customer support.

"My husband and I were in the market for…"
My husband and I were in the market for a adjustable air bed and went to the big box expensive store and tried out all the beds. We ordered a bed comparable to the Personal Comfort A8.
After a over a month of waiting our bed was going to be delivered. We had a date and time scheduled up to the delivery day in the late afternoon. No bed showed up. Called customer service and they wanted to reschedule 50 more days. This was unacceptable, and we cancelled and got our money back.
I researched alternatives to the big box brand and we found PERSONAL COMFORT.
We watched the comparison videos, read reviews and researched some more and decided to order the A8 bed.
The sales person was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had. There was no pressure of selling the A8, just the facts were given to us. We knew the return policy and the process of how long it would take for us to get it to our door.
It actually got to us sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. The shipping company was disappointing and our boxes were damaged which exposed some of the foam which got a little scuffed up and slightly dirty, but everything was in tact.
It took us a few days to decide to put it together.
When we did we did put everything out like the video on their website. DON'T DO IT! Some of the mattress zipper parts are already in tact and ready for you to put together. We finally started putting it together to find some of the foam layers were different than the video.
1. The egg crate foam was white and not blue.
2. The gel infused layer does not have the aerated holes. I called and was told they no longer have the aerated holes and the video was a old video.
After a couple of hours or so we had our bed ready to use. The bed was comfortable and we couldn't wait to sleep on it.
We did put it on a adjustable base we purchased from another company called Dynasty Mattress that had the adjustable base we were looking for.
My husband used to wake up at least 1-2 times a night, now he's sleeping all night.
My hip used to hurt in my old bed, now the pain has almost completely gone away and we've only had our new bed a week.
We are looking forward to many nights of blissful sleep and painless mornings.
We are going to tell all our family and friends that are looking for a new bed to try a Personal Comfort first, they won't be disappointed.
Go try the big box store beds, figure out which comfort level bed you like and purchase Personal Comfort, you won't be disappointed.
