Had cars from another subscription firm for over 2 years, and they had increased their prices and customer service was poor. Elmo is in a different league.

From the start of the ordering process all the way through to delivery, I can not fault them. Kept me updated, and when they was a last-minute issue, the car they were going to send was not available, they sorted it out, let me know what was going on, checked I was happy with their solutions and delivered as promised.

"Good way to test"

Ordered car, waited about a month, car was delivered easily enough. Brand new MG ZS. Wanted to see whether going to an ev car was a good idea and this service allows you to find out. I will be buying one in 2023. Only negative is delivery charges and collection charges. Also, if they could do a longer lease for £100 - £200 less a month, it would be better.

It was all done online and each step was described well and easy to follow and was in order. I didn't need to make any phone calls or receive any phone calls which is great for my busy life with children but they are available to talk if you need to. No problems at all from start to finish

"They take your money but fail to deliver a car"

Almost a week after my contract started and still no car. Money has been taken but they failed to deliver a vehicle. I waited in the full delivery slot but nothing. I only found out it wasn’t coming because I contacted them. Then another car was rescheduled for the following week but they cancelled again, this time I was informed. They are trying to deliver a car soon that’s a downgrade to what I ordered for the same money. Very poor experience so far!

"What an absolutely rip off…"

What an absolutely shocking rip off company .
I’m onto customer but Elmo has different cars that I really wanted .
So I decided to have a go at it only to realise how much they charge to delivery the car.
Car subscription 569£
Delivery fee 319£
Plus few extras here and there .
I tried to say ok I can pick up the car in England close to the depot so I will be charged little , customer service just avoided my question.
The price for subscription ok but delivery and collection would be 638£
Avoid if you are in Scotland

"I was anxious at first"

I was anxious at first , and also looking for the charging stations along my
Route home , but the drive itself was comfy
And I think the more I drive it and later on get some with longer range I will enjoy it more

Yet to receive my car & try the full experience. However, I felt the need to write a review of the experience ahead of delivery because its been truly the best experience I have had with any service provider in a long time.
Naturally, I had a few questions ahead of taking the plunge & additionally wanted to switch cars due to the last minute availability of my preferred choice. Each time I have connected with the Elmo team - via live chat, email, instagram etc, I have had friendly, nothing-is-too-much-trouble service with quick & thorough follow up to ensure every question is answered. This has made me really confident that the long term service of elmo will also be efficient & reliable just like the car. Thanks again to the team for all your time & help.

Service is overall very good. Car itself is finicky (not Elmo's fault, we had an MG5 which is a story in itself) but Elmo is fantastic, with fast response times, and friendly staff. Would recommend and would possibly be back !
