Absolutely outstanding.
Just left 'onto' after poor customer service and rising costs. Treated badly by them since I had been a customer for 11 months!

Glad I swapped to Elmo, stress free, efficient customer service and love my MG, superb range and comfortable.

Keep up the good work Elmo you have a future long standing customer here!!!

"Super easy and straightforward"

Super easy and straightforward. Rep (Samantha) was extremely helpful on email In answering questions and putting through changes to my subscription. Found Elmo really useful and enjoyed driving electric. Next time probably a more fun car than the Zoe but overall great.

"Easy EV subscription"

The whole process of taking out an EV subscription has been easy and problem free with Elmo. Our car was delivered to our door by Clive who took time to explain all the features of the car. This was much appreciated since it is our first electric vehicle and we didn’t know what to expect. Thanks Clive!

"Poor start to the subscription"

My subscription started yesterday, the delivery driver was very polite and knowledgable, unfortunately he said he wasn’t passed a charge card for me to charge the car up, I just assumed this was standard from the experience I had with a previous company which had 3 cards to different charge point. I then realised my promo code wasn’t applied to my account so I thought no problem I’m sure customer service would be friendly enough to apply that for me, however an agent simply said you can’t have the current promo code it was only offered on Monday and you signed up the previous week, I was like good bye any sort of saving, the agent assumed I was after the latest offer of £125 however I understand I missed that offer by 4 days the offer I was referring to was £55 off my first subscription, I explained this to the agent and she said no I’m sorry you can’t have that either. At this point I was getting a bit frustrated, so I said could I just have my charge card I paid extra for please, she said we don’t have the cards so you will have to ring BP pulse every time you want to charge with a number I will give you, I actually thought she was joking 🙃 however she wasn’t, this subscription was quickly going from bad to terrible. The next day I decided to call the company to speak to the manager and explained what’s been going on, he didn’t seem very interested in what I had to say however after kicking a fuss he finally agreed to give me the promo code but no card, I have no idea when I will receive this apparently it should come through the post. So I will need to call BP Pulse every time I need to charge and from previous experience this can take up to 30 minutes to get through then you have you charge time on top of that which could be around an hour. A previous company which I’m kind of regretting leaving to come to Elmo provided all the cards like, InstaVolt, BP Pulse, and Shell.

I feel a lot needs to be done to improve this subscription.

I had previously used Onto to rent two EVs. When Onto put their prices up I took a closer look at Elmo and quickly realised that their prices were very competitive and they offered a bigger choice of available cars. I ordered a Citroen C4e from Elmo.

Samantha and Kayla at Elmo answered all my pre-contract questions quickly, and their help and guidance made the whole process of booking the car painless and very efficient.

The C4e arrived on time and immaculately clean. I have been very pleased and impressed with the C4e. It is very comfortable and has a decent range of about 180ml in normal use. I have now arranged for the car to be returned as I spend much of the winter overseas.

I highly recommend Elmo to anyone looking to rent a car without having to enter a long-term commitment. Their customer service is exemplary and I will certainly be renting another car from them in the future.
