"Crazy Comfortable Bike!"

My bike arrived in great shape (lots of care went into packaging). Paint and overall condition were excellent. We had to attach the handlebars (required a strong person), front wheel (easy), and the pedals (easy). Then we had to tweak the brakes (not a BIG problem, but have handy a person who knows about brakes). The instruction manual has photos which are very helpful, but there have been design changes since it was printed. We called the customer service line and got responses quickly: first question answered by email the next morning and our second question was resolved on the phone when we called (we ordered fenders which arrived separately, in great condition, but didn't get correct nuts/washers for attachment).
*PLUS SIDE of riding the bike: the seat is ridiculously comfortable, the bike pedals easily, my posture is upright (not like the Schwinn 10-speeds of the 70s!!!), the handlebars are wide which works well for me, and the brakes are powerful. The rear bike rack is sturdy and holds up well to use.
*DOWN SIDE: Second gear is reluctant; we will need to adjust the transition into and out of 2nd. We took our time assembling the bike and spent about 3 hours at it. The "step-through" is pretty high. A shorter woman (I'm 5'4") will struggle to get through the 26" bike frame.
*I love the bike. Comfortable ride, responds well, looks great. Wear a helmet and have fun!!

A great article! For me, at age 90, the secret to a “good ride” is a dropper seat post. I can lower it to the bottom as I approach a stop and put both feet on the ground. When underway I can raise the seat to a comfortable pedaling stance. As such, I own a quality Trek Remedy 8 mountain bike for single track trail riding and a Trek e-caliber mountain bike (e-bike) for pavement riding. Staying in shape to enjoy riding them is an “every other day” event at the Sun City fitness center (winter time).

They we're running a deal (as they frequently spam your email about) so I purchased the mint green bike at that price online. Four weeks later I still did not receive the bike and asked about its progress. They told me it has been out of stock for a while (even though no mention of that was on the website) and that they had no idea when new inventory would be available. I asked for the same model bike in a different color and they told me it would cost me a significant amount of more money since the deal no longer applies. Call it bait-and-switch, or whatever you want. This company is horrible.

I ordered a bike at a very good price. The website said there were only 2 in stock. I got an email confirmation and my credit card was charged. I waited a week and when I had not received a shipping update, I contacted them. I was then informed that the bicycle was not in stock and they could cancel my order or I could order a different bike - with no discounted price. I asked for a refund and did receive it within two business days. My concern is that my card was charged prior to the item being shipped and no one even attempted to correct it - until I contacted them. I was looking forward to buying a bike from them and probably would have selected another model if it wasn't for the way this was handled.

Super great bike, easy to assemble and easy to ride works well for me and im 5'10. Navy color is really nice too
