"Great location. But several issues…"
Great location and nice fixtures and fittings however
Freezer iced up so badly it took an hour to clear and clean up after the mess and after a five hour drive we didn’t need that.
No ironing board. Pictures off the wall in the second bedroom. Dirt on the radiators. Balcony dirty. Oven and grill full of grease. Blinds broken. Dirty cups in a dirty cupboard. We then washed all the crockery and cutlery as there is still Covid around and we were not confident that any of it was clean. Finally we didn’t realise that we hadn’t got permission to park until we were leaving. My husband has a disability badge so the alternative given was not acceptable. Comfy clean beds and pillows and staff we met very polite and friendly

"Unnecessarily stressful"
Unfortunately we had a stressful experience. Prior to booking we checked we could check in at 11/11:30 as we had a wedding at 1pm and were told we could pay for early check in. Based on this we booked and later paid the £50 for early check in.
The day before we were due to arrive, we were told the earliest we can check in at at 12 which left no time for getting ready before the taxi arrived. If this had been made clear when we asked about early checking we wouldn’t have booked given the time frame.
Even more frustrating was only being told on the morning of check in that the keys are not where the accommodation is. They said it was a 10 minute walk but it turned out to be 20 minutes which given the already tight timings due to not being able to check in until 12 caused stress.
Property was fine just very hot, slight smell of stale cigarette smoke which was surprising as meant to be a non smoking flat. The main issue was communication was poor and when I tried to feedback the response wasn’t good and addressed to Kevin? (don’t know a Kevin).

Good accommodation in a convenient location. Always available to provide support and assistance throughout our stay, if needed and the accommodation provided worked out better value for money than any of the nearby hotels for our group of five people.

"Disappointed"
We didn't enjoy our stay. The keys are stored in a different location which was difficult to find and instructions provided 30 minutes before check in which we found very inconvenient as we were driving to the area. The apartment was very dusty and no complimentary tea or coffees were provided even though this was advertised when making the booking. The hot water ran cold when running the bath. We had to put the booster on and wait until the following day for the water to finally heat up. The wifi instruction provided in the welcome pack were wrong. After contacting kh homes we were provided with up to date information by that time it was bed time! The welcome pack needs to be updated! We did not enjoy our stay and will not be booking an apartment with kh home in the future.

"Convenient location, needs a little love."
The apartment is conveniently located for visiting family. With a short walk to town. The apartment is nice but in need of a little tlc. There were a number of maintenance issues and on the whole the building looked like it needed a good clean. Whilst the staff that I had contact with were very helpful, I found the processes following booking over complicated, having to fill in a questionnaire and provide ID was a little excessive and quite stressful. The Apartment would benefit from some darker curtains as there is no way to block out any light. All in all the apartment is nice enough but basic and needs a bit of love.
