"Came thru during difficult times"
Covid created quite the challenge for many small business owners. Torro Offroad managed to survive the challenge and deliver a quality rooftop tent at an affordable price. Granted there were issues with shipping delays but these tents arrive so well packaged that it makes up for the delays. Tent arrived in perfect shape and included additional items at no additional cost. Mounting is not very challenging and the directions are straight forward and useful. It is a well constructed tent at a very competitive price. Thanks for making it happen.

"RTT arrived today and I am 100%…"
RTT arrived today and I am 100% satisfied with the qualty! All the extras that Corey J. added because of the wait time was a nice touch that shows his dedication to his customers. It is unfortunate that this company was started in the worst possible time due to the pandemic and having to be shipped from China causing massive delays. There was also some stateside shipping issues that Corey was honest and open about with his customers and he provided regular updates via e-mail and video. Corey and his team always responded to questions or concerns in a prompt manner and maintained transparency.

"They handled the situation as best they could"
The timing of our order was unfortunate for everyone involved given the current COVID environment. We ultimately decided not to take possession given some of the delays. However Corey and team handled things professionally, transparently and reversed our charges in short order. It looks like a great product at a very reasonable price tag and I wish them success.

I don’t know about other experiences, but mine is good. Company responded to my question and need in a timely manner. Communication is there. Product is great. I waited patiently for my tent. It did come in later the then I wanted it to be, but The company keep me updated. The product arrived not damage. I get much more out of it then other brand. Thank you

"Tent Received"
Corvid aside, poor communication, zero accountability and continued inability to meet any deadlines. I am requesting a refund as product still has not been received (tent paid in full at time of order February 2020), stay tuned regarding dissatisfaction refund (website states satisfaction guaranteed + Corey stated refunds take no time at all).
10/14/20-Update
Ironically a refund processed at the time the tent was received (July 2020). At this point it was easier to repay and keep the tent.
The process still sucked as did the communication (essentially one way).
The tent received had several additional bags/items that were not covered on the instruction manual-it being outside our camping window for the year i'm hoping to pare down what isn't necessary. My take, and input wasn't sought for these inclusions, is i'd rather a reduction in price rather than these being included. Corey is asking i update this review now that i have the tent.
Process and communication, covid aside, was frustrating at best.
Product seems to be adequate for our needs (one trip made to date).
I'd suggest doing your due diligence before doing business here.

"My honest opinion of Torro"
It took a while (5 months) for the tent to get to me, but to be fair the world was dealing with a global pandemic so I decided to stick with Torro. I’m extremely glad I did because I just got done taking it out to Big Bear, CA, for the second weekend in a row. This time it was a two night trip and we loved it. We have a Skylux (4 man, rugged black) tent and it’s incredible. Corey, the CEO of Torro, has been awesome with responding to me whether I was complaining about the shipping or sending him pictures of me actually using the tent and telling him how happy I am with it. I got the annex room, the flooring for the annex room, insulation for the tent AND an awning all in the same bundle with Torro. Like I said before, I’m incredibly happy with my purchase and I’m already planning all my trips out for the summer. Thank you to Corey, and the entire Torro team for my tent. I’m looking forward to seeing this brand grow.

"From the beginning this company has…"
From the beginning this company has made numerous mistakes and lacks honesty.
The site advertised free shipping and allowed us to purchase and process our order in March 2020. However I am told a month later that I needed to pay for shipping. It is now July 6, 2020 and still no promised shipment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrible business practices.

"FINAL UPDATE - This thing is seriously cool!"
Update 4 - The tent is mounted on the truck and opened up. It is a seriously nice tent. Heavy duty nylon, well made fittings, easy to set up. I will need a step ladder for my F350, but I expected that! It's over 8 feet high! The built in ladder is long enough to get in and out, with some to spare. I highly recommend this tent. Even if it might take a long time to get, it is worth the wait. Thank you torro off road!
Update 3 - The tent arrived on 7-7-2020. I have not unpacked it yet. The fact that it finally arrived allays a lot of the scam concerns I was having, which largely explain my initial two star review. In this day and age, it is tough to know who you are dealing with. So my update is that the updates from torro were not a clever ruse. They were responsive most of the time and it seems like they tried pretty hard to keep their customers happy. Upgrading to three stars, reserving the final two until after I've looked at the tent.
UPDATE 2: The rtt arrived today! We are very glad about this! I will update my review once I open it up and get a look.
UPDATE 1: Supposedly, UPS now has my package and it's said to be delivered tomorrow. I look forward to providing an update with my review including the actual product.
Original Post: I ordered my item on February 2, 2020, was told I'd receive it by the end of March. Now all of the COVID business came up, so some delays are expected. That said, it is now July 5 and I still don't have it, no one knows where it is, or when I will receive it. The company is kind of responsive sometimes, but also not really able to help. They say they picked a bad shipper, then gave me their contact info so I can nag them. The whole thing has been exceedingly frustrating. I want to like this company, I really do, but this got ridiculous a month ago.
