"Disappointing and Unprofessional"
Disappointing, called as my dishwasher leaked all over my kitchen floor, they came right away but I was told it wasn’t leaking after technician was here less than 10 minutes. I paid $90 and he left, that night it leaked again, I called the next day and they told me they would not come unless I filmed where it leaked. I did as they asked and sent it to their email. No one contacted me, I left it a couple of days and called, the person answering the phone said she could not open the video. We downloaded the video to wetransfer, sent them the link which gave them seven days to observe the leak, again no one called. I went back and forth with this company for nine more days and each time the person answering the phone said she would call back and not once did anyone call. My dishwasher was never repaired by this company.

"Paid $252 to have dryer repaired - No Joy"
Paid $252 to have dryer repaired. All they did was check connections and tell me if it happened again all it would need was a new element. Failed after a few loads. Then they quoted $314 for a heating element and it would be a month to six weeks to get it.
I looked online. Element is $156 and overnight. I told them this and they said they would install but no warranty.
Not sure what I paid $252 for just to get ripped off.
Went and bought a refurbished dryer from Super save appliances who I have had good luck with over the years. $280. Wish I had just gone there first. Capital Appliance Repair is useless.

"Good work but very expensive"
The service technician did a fine job yesterday. The fridge is working and the repair was completed successfully.
Having said that, I do have some concerns:
1) He was late. Originally scheduled for 10:30, he arrived at 12:30. I called the dispatcher at 11am to confirm when he was coming.
2) I didn't receive an estimate before the work was completed. The work was done and I was then asked to pay.
3) The repair is too expensive. $350 for the installation of an off the shelf part is too much. The technician's labour rate is too high. He was onside and I was charged $200. A labour rate of $200 is much too high for this time of work. The markup on parts is also too much. I was charged $112 for a small part which I later found online for $30. (I don't expect to pay online prices for parts that a repair person has onhand, this feels exorbitant.) I would expect this repair would be closer to $200 ($70 parts, $120 labour).
In summary, while I have no complaints about the quality of the work, I won't be using your services or recommending them again due to the way the work was priced and quoted. Please let me know if you would like to discuss.

"HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!"
I was having issues with my Dryer called this company to come to take a look and diagnose the problem. The company tried to cancel on me last minute the day of I was not impressed! When the technician finally did show up to my house he was here for a total of 15 minute turned on my dryer once and listed out a bunch of issues it could be. He wouldn't do any tests on the dryer or even pull it apart/look at it. I asked him multiple times to do a test on the burner as he told me they easily could do that but he didn't want to do it that night because it was "late and his end of shift" he told me if I wanted the test done I would have to pay the service fee again ontop of the $112 I just paid for him to basically hangout. Since there was so many possibilities on what the issue could be I asked him if he could email me an quote for the possible repairs so I can decide. This was on Wednesday and I still have not heard back from the company, I tried called on Thursday to speak with a manager and I was hung up on twice and told someone would call me back on Friday. It's now Sunday and I haven't hard back from a manager, they won't answer there phones anymore and I still haven't received my quote for the possible work. In the mean time of this company wasting my time I was actually able to hire a reliable company to come in and fix my dryer all in the time I'm still waiting for a response from Capital Appliance Repair. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I reached out to Capital Appliance Repair and they gave us an appointment for the same day. The repairman actually called and came earlier. He was very efficient and diagnosed the problem as discussed. He was able to get a replacement immediately and returned promptly to fix our dryer. He explained the repair, left the area clean. Thank you very much for your service.

The gentleman who came to our home was wonderful. He came promptly and worked hard to try to rectify the problem. In the end he was honest enough to tell us that we needed to buy a new fridge. THAT is the sign of a good and honest repairman. We will definitely use this repair company in the future.

I can't say enough good things about capital appliance repair. The service was prompt, accurate, and cost-effective. They came when they said they were going to come, they correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it with no friction, and little hassle. Their service was so good, I asked if the same person could go and assist my mother with her appliance problems. They went the next day, problem solve. Fast, courteous, and highly professional. If you need any small appliance work, call them. You won't regret it.
