Can't complain, had 2 quotes booked in by them, both were pleasent and professional. One was a little expensive but the second seemed a fair price and we placed an order last week

Never ever use Trusted Local Suppliers to contact local suppliers. I would give them a zero star if there was that possibility.They connected me with a conman and scammer (by name of George West - Our Price Conservatory) who pretended to be a conservatory installer. When he disappeared with my deposit for no work provided, they shied away from their responsibility and refused to accept nor recognise that their vetting processes were flawed as they had not done any due diligence to check the supplier before listing him on their webpage. Worst of all they were very unhelpful and made no effort to provide support in tracking down the conman nor recovering the deposit. Please stay away and never use Trusted Local Suppliers if you want to avoid any painful losses.

"They don’t vet the builders"

Be very careful when using this company. Their jargon says they vet all their builders beforehand so they can be trusted.
They clearly do not vet them properly when we found out to our cost once our deposit was stolen by one of the builders they recommended. No apology when we phoned them but we were told the girl who took the criminal on was “in tears about it”. That doesn’t get our £5000 back though.

"Was looking for double glazing"

Was looking for double glazing. Did not want to be hassled by sales people ( I spent over 30 years in sales and also trained sales people so know all the tricks and get bored talking to sales people who work off scripts). I thought this site would enable me to get online quotes.
Within a short time of registering I got a call from compare companiers explaing I would be contacted by several companies. i specifically asked for no phone calls until after 5.30.Almost immediately I started getting phone calls from various companies. and they have not stopped. The 4 companies recommended were the 4 companies that probably spring to everyones mind when thinking about double glazing. The 4 big nationals.. Not one would give me a rough idea of prices, all wanted to send a sales person round for a visit..... by all accounts I am not capable of using a tape measure and letting the companies know what floors my windows are on.........I need someone to come and tell me!!!! Anyway none could help me without a visit. I found myself a company on line that can give an idea of price with a very good estimate website and also my local company were happy to provide an estimate based on my measurements. Sorry I wasted my time with Compare Companies.

Have not received any quotes from the Company though have been bombarded by spam calls since entering my details. Do not recommend

"Waste of time"

I put my postcode in and selected 'it depends' for boiler repair or replacement as it depends on how much the fix would be, their website said they have people in my area but they phoned me at half 8 this morning and once I gave them the actual address they said that they do not have anyone in my area. Also that they only do boiler replacements, which begs the question - Why have repairs as an option?! Now my details have been passed onto another company by them to see if they can do any better.

I used this company rather than going through the process of contacting individual heating companies directly and it was an excellent decision.
TLS responded very quickly and arranged a number of companies to contact me to provide quotes for installation of a new gas boiler. All were good and provided very similar quotations after survey. Prices varied of course but we made our choice based on both price and confidence in the sales/surveyors. We couldn't be more satisfied - all in all a good process and we would certainly recommend this company
