The firm of Access Legal Solicitors have absolutely fantastic in handling my case following the severe injuries I suffered while visiting London in the summer of 2015. My lawyer, Paul Ashurst, represented me relentlessly vis a vis the MIB, It took a long time, but he managed to settle with them for a very decent sum of money. And their legal fees, deducted from the compensation I received was extremely reasonable!
Kudos to Paul, Sarah, and everyone else that helped on my case.

We would like to say a huge Thank you to Gurvinder Samar from Access Legal Solicitors who provided us excellent advice and support just prior to our son’s Education Tribunal with Nottinghamshire County Council. We were experiencing many problems with communication and compliance from the Council which was adding to our confusion and distress about the how the case would and should progress. Gurvinder took such care and time to provide me with an insight of how the process should progress, the Councils legal obligations to us and how to prepare our counter arguements for objections that they might make for towards our case. I am very thankful to say that we were successful in winning the tribunal and the Courts agreed that our council should provide funding to allow our son to receive an education in a specialist independent deaf school plus transport from immediate effect. My son now has the opportunity of a very bright future, is happy and settled in his new school and we have seen immense improvements in his speech and language and confidence within the space of a few weeks.

The solicitor given my case clearly did not want the case and dragged her feet requesting medical records for six months. I could tell the whole time that I was having to fight her as well as the doctors. After a meeting which I had to request (as I knew she was only looking for an excuse to drop the case) in which I went through and agreed the position with her, she went away and then typed up a "report" with the most comical reasons for there not being negligence, e.g. I had consented to the surgery.
When I raised the fact that the solicitor had acted in bad faith with me to the Head of Private Practice I got the complete discrediting of my opinions and views with the patronising message that I could not take bad news, but said he could ask someone to investigate it if I wished. The outcome of any "investigation" of this underhand and deceitful way of dropping my case already sounds as if it will be far from independent.
I asked if the solicitor was found to have acted in bad faith the firm would still act for me and was told that they would not, without even looking into my concerns, which mainly stem from the solicitor given my case clearly having struggled with her previous case of this nature and not understanding the illness and therefore wanting to drop it whilst being seen to have tried.
