I made contact via WhatsApp as I hate talking on the phone they’ve been amazing I spoke to Marcus and he’s been very friendly and helpful even with all my silly questions but I feel like there is a way forward for me now just hoping my IVA gets approved then I can finally breath a sigh of relief that I’ll have creditors of my back and it will be one affordable repayment I was apprehensive about them at first and handing over my information but they’ve been great and reassured me the whole time finally trying to get my life back on track thankyou mum in debt

I spoke with a lovely man named Shaun, he listened, was very understanding and made me feel comfortable. I was so embarrassed but he made me feel that I didn't need to be. Once we had gone through everything and there was a pathway out of my nightmare and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, the weight and relief off my shoulders was incredible. "This company is a massive scam that…"

This company is a massive scam that unfortunately depends on the desperation and panic that people feel when they are overwhelmed with debt.

Despite lengthy admin and personal information as well as payments, my creditors have still not been contacted despite being strictly advised NOT to pay or talk to any of them. My credit rating remains awful as now it looks like I’ve just been ignoring my debt. Considering I’m in a bad enough situation to even consider something like an IVA, the money I have paid to them over the last 5 months is no joke at all. My debts have continued to escalate and since I have been pushing for communication, magically nobody is contactable suddenly! I anticipate that my IVA has been cancelled ( I will check today) because I’m being too annoying about following up with calls and emails that never come. It’s a dangerous game to get involved with this company, and actually, better to at least know what’s going on rather than unwittingly putting yourself in legal and further financial trouble.

I reflect on the whole process and the quick
Notes I had to write on behalf of other people to boost my income on the forms, should have been a massive red-flag. There’s nothing legit about this process and the name Mums with Debt is just a lure for a selection of shoddy debt companies, there’s nothing specialist about this service and are actively seeking the most vulnerable people to engage with.
