"Mower ok so far"
Mower ok so far. Would have liked the option to buy it with 2 off 4AH batteries instead of the 2AH + 4AH as it only just manages to cut my lawn on a single charge.
The delivery packaging was totally inadequate for such a large and heavy machine.

"Everything was good only thing that…"
Everything was good only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was that there was no contact from courier to give a time window so I had to wait in, and there didn't seem any way to track courier

"Should have been 5 stars"
Ordering process was easy, though I did not receive an email confirming dispatch or tracking number. When I contacted them to check it had been shipped was informed no tracking number was available…very odd for a high ticket item! Assembly instructions are unhelpful to say the least. Lawnmower appears fairly well made, started first pull & cuts well.

"Atco ?????????"
When I bought my Atco ride on the first time I went on it and the steering wheel came out and I landed in a tree.
Second time the drive belt snapped, so had it fixed and serviced.
Third time was the cutting deck came loose so had it fixed then had a service.£400.00
Emailed Atco and they told me to go the person who sold it to me. So they fixed it but really should had exchange it.
Fourth time the cutting deck was put on incorrectly and the drive belt snapped.another cost
Fifth the engine would start so the guys fixed it £400
Sixth time the engine wouldn’t start forgot to do something?another cost.
Seventh time cut the grass after had all fixed and serviced the cutting deck has come off again I am so frustrated as the cost is too much when I bought the ride on from new so I could rely on it

"Good customer service"
Recently bought an Atco Liner 16S from an independent dealer. Emailed Atco/ Stiga’s Customer services to ask for an electronic copy of the operating manual and the same for my older model Quattro 15S. Received a reply within 24 hours with the 2 manuals. Good products, helpful and prompt customer service. Would highly recommend.

"Let down by poor tracking information"
Had the part which was good, expensive but not too bad for a genuine part. Web site seemed to suggest I could get it next day but that turned out to be misleading. No tracking information was provided and when I telephoned to ask where it was ATCO didn’t know and told me to expect 3-5 days. It turned up later the same day in the post. So a frustrating experience which could have been avoided by the website saying delivery 3-5 days by Royal Mail. It was a pig to fit but that’s another story!

"I truly hate this mower"
I truly hate, yes " hate "this mower. Atco " Classic " 20s Rotory type. You need Herculean arms to start the thing, and I play golf every day so should not be that difficult. A woman could not start this mower. The grass box is difficult to fit in and out and when full its a nightmare trying to get it through the gap of the handles..very bad for the back. Dangerous is word for the sprung lid/grass box cover. The spring action is so powerful you could lose a finger.
The clip on wheel trims are a joke. They just keep falling off, why do they have them in the first place?
The biggest nightmare though is the suggestion that it is supposed to be self pulling my main purpose for buying it. It's a joke. I spend more time manually pushing the thing. And no, my grass is not too long. In fact its a new lawn, so not to dence yet. It just won't pull as the smooth plastic wheels just spin.
I bought the S 20 for a good wide cut to speed things up. Waste of money I tend to cut only half a strip keeping one wheel on the already cut grass to get som traction. The drive wheels are far too smooth and narrow and the apparent tred is another joke. I'm thinking of putting some kind of short spike into the drive wheels to stop the slipping.
It cuts well enough, and if your grass is around an inch high then it probably does what it says on the tin. God knows what it must be like on any kind of small slope.
This is my first rotary having used rollers before now, so it is one Hell of a transformation, buy one at your Peril.
Addendum. Sinse writing my review which I continue to stand by. I have tried cutting my grass more often and at a higher setting. I can say therefore that if you do not allow your grass to grow above three inches or so and do not try to cut it too short at one pass. The mower will pull without needing any assistance from yourself. My advice therefore is. Keep your grass shortish and cut it frequently without taking too much off. That way all should be well.
This note was added on the 23May23.
One more thing to consider. The grass box is made of a plastic lid on a nylon sack/bag. The bottom rear edge of this bag particularly when full drags on the ground. The net effect of this is that it will wear away very quickly making the bag usless, particularly if you run the mower over a hard surface like a garden path. I have attached a strip of hard plastic to the area effected to prevent premature wear. Strange thig is the manufacturer has done this to the front edge of the bag, but this part seems not to drag on the ground. I do wonder what the R&D team were thinking that day. And no I don't have a down on ATCO. IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS IT DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO.
P.S. I have abandoned trying to keep the right hand wheel trim on the wheel. Just keeps falling off. Maybe it's me.
