We are a national building outfit based in Luton and were clearing out three floors of redundant shop fittings etc from the old House of Frasers Store in the West end of Edinburgh as part of a large contract we are appointed to carry out although with restrictions on parking skips in that area and due to lockdown restrictions decided to use a local property clearance company instead and to allow our lads to crack on with construction.
It is the first time using such a service for us and we didn’t know if they would have the expertise to carry out such a large job by hand over three floors although after contacting and using Rapid Response clearance team are delighted that we did as they were so organised and quick, the 5 men and 2 ladies that turned up to do the work cleared the whole bulk in two days, well over 10 tons in weight overall and they were using two large removal vans that they managed to arrange parking with council to park n the back lane, more importantly due to their high recycle rate they were able to bring the job in well within our overall disposal budget !
We will be using them for the duration of the project including any other works in the region we are involved with and highly recommend Rapid as they are extremely efficient and friendly.

I contacted Rapid Response at 11 o’clock on the Thursday, had a definitive quote and an appointment agreed for the following morning within two hours, and the team arrived during the agreed timeslot, collected everything within a couple of minutes, and sent me an invoice via email to allow me to pay them what was a reasonable price and competitive compared to another couple of quotes I received. The entire process was done quickly and seamlessly, and John and his team were professional and courteous when they attended the pick-up. I would recommend them to anybody for this type of service and will likely be using them again in future.

I had to clear my mother’s house out after she passed away recently and had no idea where to begin, I arranged to take some stuff to a local recycling centre although after filling the car up twice with junk, realised that it would be better to use a house clearance company as there was way too much to transport by car and it would have taken us ages. Mum’s property was in Edinburgh so we contacted Rapid Response as they were a local clearance company who then supplied us with a reasonable quotation which we accepted.
They went on to provide a first class service and arranged everything quickly from taking useable items to BFH charity and disconnecting the washing machine, cooker etc and all completed within one day !
