"Tiffany lamps. Don’t buy their bulbs"

Tiffany lamps were beautiful- what’s not to like. We did pay the price though. Poor customer service after I reported bulbs bought @£14 each didn’t fit. Their response ? We have not ever heard this happen before. And the Tiffany lamps were so dirty they turned the white gloves provided for handling black with grime!
A few emails back and forth - I was not happy with their impersonal attitude - we will escalate to management. What does that mean? Customer service incapable of making a decision? Do you want to send them back or do you want a discount? If a discount how much do you want and yes that phrase again - we will escalate to management. Well what can I say - they asked how much of a discount I wanted. Well I suggested 20% - why not … they did ask. They came back and said you can ge £20 and refund of cost of bulbs . I mean that’s fine seriously but why ask me how much of a discount I would like in the first place. More delay.
Listen - its just my opinion but it’s just poor customer service.
In my business if something like this happened (it doesn’t!) we would immediately either replace and refund and apologise. Not back and forth with weird questions about discounts! Yes I am grateful for bulb money back - the bulbs have gone to local charity shop and the refund is in my bank account today. They have also removed the recommendation of the E27 bulb from their links. Good. Be aware the Tiffany lamps come from china prepacked and not opened by litecraft so they have no clue what’s inside so said they were unaware of how dirty they are!
Honestly I won’t be back at litecraft - too much of a risk when spending nearly £700 .
