VII. CANCELLATION OF VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT
C. WE may cancel this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT at any time if: (i) YOU fail to timely pay any part of the VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT purchase price; (ii) YOU made a material misrepresentation or substantially breached YOUR duties under this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT relating to the VEHICLE, repairs or its use; (iii) YOU have concealed or misrepresented any material fact(s), or circumstance(s) concerning this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT, or in the case of fraud, attempted fraud, or the false swearing affecting any matter relating to this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT, whether before or after a loss on a continuing basis, this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT may be cancelled and any unearned premium will be returned. (iv) the VEHICLE has been sold or traded or repossessed, unless this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT has been transferred in accordance with section X; (v) the VEHICLE identification number no longer can be read or has been altered; (vi) WE cannot determine the true mileage of the VEHICLE due to replacement, alteration or unknown true mileage, disconnection or failure of the Odometer; (vii) the VEHICLE has been declared a total loss or sold for salvage purposes, branded or salvage title; or (viii) the VEHICLE has been modified for or used in any competitive events or used for a COMMERCIAL USE or PURPOSE. If WE cancel this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT WE will refund to you or the Lender, as applicable, the lesser of: (iv) a time pro-rated amount, based upon the time expired since the VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT was purchased including the cost of any claims or services authorized or paid; or (x) a mileage pro-rated amount, based upon the number of miles the VEHICLE has been driven since YOU purchased the VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT including the cost of any claims or services authorized or paid.

Delta auto protect is a huge pain in my a**. They will approve work and never pay the bill, leaving me with over $1500 in repair bills. I have emailed CSMs I have emailed the CEO, no response. Voicemails are left unreturned. I have spoken with Aaron, Jay, Marie and Nicole. Everyone of them use tactics to delay payment and get you off the phone. I have to call them every 48hrs just try ask for payment, their rules. "Someone from finance will call your shop today or tomorrow to make payment" payment never happens. Oh btw, the finance department gets to work at 11 and leaves at 5, and they have no issue leaving you on hold till 5. Finance is also closed on fridays. DO NOT BUY FROM DELTA. filed with the BBB, The PA and TX AG will be notified next.

"Bought Platinum warranty in good faith"
Bought Platinum warranty in good faith. A/C went out in my 2014 Silverado in February. I had to pay out of pocket because Firestone would have held my truck until payment was made. This is May 23 and I still have not received my refund from Delta Auto Protect. They keep giving me the run around on my refund. I asked what they would refund me from my Policy premium and was told $167 and I said never mind. They are now telling me I cancelled my policy. I put in a second claim over a week ago because my A/C/ Compressor went out. They would not respond to the shop so I had to pay out of pocket again. They won't even acknowledge my claim.

7/20/2017 Amount $178.50.
Delta approved this part and labor for my 2009 Land Rover Wheel Bearing. Authorization # was given by Delta. The part was actually sent by Delta but the repairs were not paid for.
The repair shop called and faxed the invoice every month for 6 months and asked me to to responsibility. For the past year I have been calling and emailing and each time a rep tells me a check will be sent out.
12/28/18 Emailed invoice again after rep asked on the phone
2/13/19 Invoice sent to Aaron Lynch
2/15/19 Aaron emailed confirming receipt of invoice
3/7/19 Called and no assistance. Aaron replied via email confirmed being paid
I received no more communication via email and kept being told on the phone to call back.
Repair shop was going to send me to collections so I paid this out of pocket
3/17 Called Delta

Delta approved the parts and labor for my 2009 Land Rover Rack and Pinion. Authorization # given. The parts were purchased by the repair shop and labor completed.
4/15/19 My repair shop Luxury Auto and Repair Clinic contacted Delta and was informed that a check will be mailed out to them for the parts and labor. All invoices were emailed
4/15 Called Delta spoke to Jay, he informed me that this is approved
4/22 Repairs done
4/26 Called waited on hold 25min and spoke to Jay, he said everything is authorized and payment should go out. He doesnt know when. I asked to speak to finance and he indicated they are closed. He said to call back Monday and ask for the Finance manager, he indicated his name might be Mr. Cooper.
5/2 Called waited 20mins on hold, rep told me the checks for both invoices mailed out 4/26/19
5/15 CAlled 20min hold, rep indicated the person who told me it was all approved is new it was not approved we need to email the invoices AGAIN.
5/17 35min on hold
5/19 Emailed execs: dwright, rcooper and cseruya at deltaautoprotect.com
Paid invoice #1 and currently in a repayment plan with the shop for invoice #2
I would like a reimbursement payment sent to me for the repair costs and also the amount I paid for my warranty. If I have to go through this entire process, the warranty service that it states in its contract is invalid and false. I would have no intention of using the service again because another issue like this can happen, also by paying out of pocket it is a breach of contract.

UPDATE 6/3/2019
2 Days after writing this review and opening a case with the AG and BBB. The company called my repair shop to make a full payment of services owed.
Multiple people on Yelp had recently messaged me back also informing they did the same thing and ended up getting payments made within days.
Thanks to the AG and BBB for reaching out to them. This show have never gotten to this point.

I know the term crook gets thrown around fairly easy but These guys are the poster children for scam. The first claim I put in took several weeks to pay the mechanic. My car was held hostage for the entire time. A year latter put in and got approve for a claim for $1186. I had to pay it because my repair shop would not deal with them again. The repair was completed in feb of 2019. I still have not been reimbursed. After no less than 8 different occasions they said a check was sent out. I have spent about 40 hours of phone time being hung up on or being told a check was sent or will be sent. 5 different managers used the same script. About how THEY were going to solve my problem personally. They have no intentions of paying multiple claims . I am now in the process of filing a claim with small claims in NY. If you purchase a cheap warrantee with them after reading this you deserve what you get. Feel free to contact me lol.516 759 6580

To quickly summarize, I was given the run-around for well over 2 months regarding the payment of an approved claim and was outright lied to about the status of that payment, which ultimately was never sent to my car dealer. Delta tried to claim the paperwork wasn't filled in correctly, but that is a lie, my car dealer saved all faxes and communication was submitted properly according to Delta's request.
A second separate claim that I needed approved was totally ignored by a Jeffrey Hopper at Delta for over two weeks and when I finally was able to get ahold of someone who could approve the claim, the approval was for the totally wrong parts and an insufficient amount of labor. Attempted to cancel contract, but Aaron in Customer Service lied and said cancellation form would be emailed to me, but of course, it never was so had to open complaint with PA Attorney General's Office.

My ESP is 816-561-26. I cancelled my policy on 12/3/2018 and was told will get my refund within 30 business days. Called them back several time and was told my check was in the mail. I verified my address and was told I would get my refund on 2/19. Also had my attorney write them a demand letter, they called me and told me I would be getting a full refund. Still no refund 4/24/19.
WARNING!!!!!
Do not purchase a warranty from these guys.
They are forcing me to take up legal matters to get my refund.

BUYER BEWARE – This company is a complete rip off. I purchased the Diamond Premier Warranty ESP # 81582408 on 6/30/18. My truck Broke down on 9/1/18. On 9/11/18 Delta Auto Protect authorized $1765.00 for repairs. On 9/25/18 I paid $2017.82 for the repairs and was told by Delta Auto Protect to email my receipts and they would send a check for $1765.00. Verified all information was received and payment authorized but still have not been paid. I have contacted Delta Auto Protect over and over again with no resolve. I’ve was told a check was sent 5 different times by 5 different individuals. As of 4/16/19 I have still not received payment. I’ve upheld my contractual responsibilities but it’s becoming evident that Delta Auto Protect has no intention of fulfilling their contractual obligation.
