Normally I'd go into a situation like this with my guard up, but Karen and the team at Platform rendered that unnecessary. I explained exactly what I was looking for, and they filled in the gaps in my knowledge (which were numerous), without it ever feeling like I was being coerced into spending what I didn't want to spend.

The ring is exactly what I had in my head, AND she said yes, AND she loves it.

Will definitely be revisiting in the future, not least for wedding bands. A lovely jewellers with a quintessential family shop feel.

We bought a beautiful diamond full eternity ring from this company, but had concerns that it was too small. We were offered the opportunity to buy it with a guarantee of return if it was too small. We came to Hatton Garden to buy an engagement ring for my partner, and decided to go into Platform Jewellers.
My partner was particularly daunted by the prospect of trying to find a ring that she liked. However, Karen put us completely at ease and immediately picked out a ring which turned out to be the perfect one.
We really appreciated that there wasn’t a pushy sales pitch at all. When we said we’d like a couple of hours to think about it, they let us go with no objections and welcomed us back a couple of hours later once we made up our minds.
Would thoroughly recommend them for affordable, classy engagement rings with a friendly service.
