As a first time visitor to SA. I walked away impressed with my visit to Pilanesberg National Park for the Full Day Safari. Our driver Thabiso Paki was excellent. He took the time to answer my many curious questions during our trip, as I took in the immense beauty of SA. As someone who will be moving to SA early 2025. Thabiso definitely was helpful in building a better understanding of SA and it's beautiful people . He showed great care to our group during our transportation to/from the park. And I had a good overall experience from beginning to end. Also I must thank Bernadette Ingram for her diligence in getting my trip scheduled in time. I definitely plan a return visit to the park in the future an will recommend using Biggestleaf Tours to my friends and family.

"Mixed experience with Welgevonden stay"

Amazing game reserve. Great ranger. Mixed experience regarding the lodge. We were asked to change our booking very last minute (on the day of our arrival). They told us that the owner had guests who wanted to extend their stay & if they could move us to a different lodge which allegedly was even better, especially for kids, we were told. The lodge was indeed beautiful & quite luxurious but a security nightmare with little kids like ours (1, 3 and 6 years). On a cliff, many dangerous places, nothing really secured. At least we got a 20% discount but that definitely wasn't worth the stress. So I really think they should have been honest. That lodge ("Emfuleni") can definitely not be recommended with small kids. Apart from that wonderful experience at the game reserve.
